This is the story of The Crucible. A play written by author Arthur Miller. It's about a girl who named Abigail who has an affair with a married man, John Proctor while he's married. One day, she gets caught dancing in the woods, which was forbidden in Puritan society. Instead of telling the truth, she says the household slave was performing witchcraft and she saw people in the town who were working with the Devil. So everyone dies because of it.

One of the main characters in that book was Abigail, who was one of the biggest reasons almost everyone in the town was put to death for witchcraft. I don't remember too much since I didn't exactly read it, but basically she betrayed everyone in the town, making her the true witch, and hence the "She's a witch" line.
