I went to the penitentiary in the day time, which is probably why I didn't find it to be all that scary.. but when our tour guide took us back to where Red's cell was I got an extremely uncomfortable feeling.. creepy.

thts the part nobody in moundsville likes, we have ghost tours here, and u saty from 8 PM- 6 Am, and it will scare u wen u walk around by urself, they give u a recorder, an thing tht detects energy, U DNT WANT STRAIGHT ONE'S, ONES ARE THE STRONGEST ACTIVITY EVR, and they give u a dial rod, this will scare u to death

I went there in Oct. 2007 and heard lots of things in solitary confinement (slamming sounds). The yard has a very cold feeling about it and you can feel the air is different. I also recorded an EVP in the hole. It was brief and sounded like a woman's voice. I uploaded it on here.
