  • Thank you for your work on this. It is convincing.

  • the truth is ,,,satan would love for chritians to stop tithings ...so the curches would have to close ! open yur eyes people. and havent u notice how people ae getting greedy and stingy with ther noney its all about sself.

  • @mercykjv I think Satan is delighted that Christians are keep under a yoke of bondage, trying to pay for buildings, special programs and so on.... when Christians are instructed to give to support the proclamation of the Gospel, to relieve the suffering of other believers and to support Elders who are diligent to study God's Word. Never once does God give a standard to meet in that giving beyond what the Believer has purposed in his heart.

  • @mercykjv Satan delights in Christians having rules to follow. It gives him two of his greatest tools to play with - pride in those who think they are doing well, and guilt in those who think they are not. Neither is of faith.

  • This is a lie from the pits of hell!!!! Tithing is required, but life is choice driven and one could pay their tithes from the gross not the net or not pay and watch your money get away from you.

  • @MsPinklady75 The statement you made is part of the problem. I bet you have no scriptural evidence to back up your rebuttal for what this man is trying to teach you. But I understand, it's hard to accept the fact that a lot of things you grew up being taught about religion is far from the truth.

  • Its so easy to see the people that are truly genuine! God bless you brother!

  • So yes abram gave a tithe as in a tenth, but it was not in terms of the 1st fruit of ones increase as the lord commanded the tribes of Israel.

  • It also important to point out that when Abram gave a tithe of spoils... Tithing was not a commandment. the bible doesnt' command tithing until the Law given by Moses. Also tithing was a tenth of ones increase. if you read the whole chapter abram didn't keep any of the spoils he gave it all away. a tenth to Melchisidek, and the rest was given back to the King of Sodom and a few other people. Abram said he did this so no one could say that they made him rich.

  • Numbers 18:21 Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, the work of the tabernacle of meeting.

  • Do the Levites still work in tabernacle...? The bible says that Jesus is our Priest after the order of Melchizedek who was not of the Levitical ancestry or after the order of Aaron. The Tithe was never a means for keeping the church running, it was an inheritance to the Levites cause out of the 12

  • Tribes they had no portion in the land. If Christ is our high priest the bible says when the priest hood changes so does the law. The law was given before the children of Israel went in to possess the land. Christ didn't come to enforce the law he came to fulfill it.

  • Matthew 5: 17-18 (amp)

Do not think that I have come to do away with or [a]undo the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but to complete and fulfill them. 18For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook [identifying certain Hebrew letters] will pass from the Law until all things [it foreshadows] are accomplished.

  • • The world for Fulfill in verse 17 is Pleroo which means to end, to replete, to diffuse, to finish, to accomplish, to perfect, to expire, and make complete. Jesus goes on to say heaven and earth will pass away and nothing will pass from the Law until all it foreshadows in accomplished. Read all 4 gospels and read how many times it says Jesus did this and that to fulfill this prophet and this law and this Psalms... JESUS Fulfilled it

  • @MrRobAtchison Now if the Tabernacle and the tent of meeting was a foreshadowing only need cause Christ have not come and the tabernacle is no more. And the Priest the bible say in numbers recieved a tithe cause he worked at the tent of meeting and the Priest was replaced by christ. So the priest is unemployed because christ in now our high priest, we don't need them to sacrifice blood for our sins, or mediate for us, we don't live in Cannan were the priest have no portion

  • and we don't need them to carry an ark of the covenant... and if you take away the tabernacle and the tent of meeting where are they employed... Read your bible thoroughly and not just Milachi. Cause if you read malachi all the way through people weren't just curse cause they weren't tithing. They had sorcerers in the the camp Adulterers in the camp, priest were divorcing there wives and following after other gods, and a whole lot of other stuff.

  • I think people should not teach that they people should not tithe. I listened of a testimony of an ex witch claiming that her main work was to make sure that christians did not tithe. God does say that we should test Him in tithing. I dont agree with how these ministers LIE to get many to tithe however God Himself said people should test Him on it and no scripture says we should STOP tithing

  • this guy agrees with me

  • Good teaching

  • Maasrah:

You said, "Abram was not tithing of his own possessions." You believe "It was not from the (later) holy land of Israel. You base your theory on the commandment giving under the law. Abram was Moses' great, great, great grandfather, How could he tithe in Israel, it was didnt exist. That doesnt make sense. God dealt with Abram under "Promise"; Moses was under the "Law" Secondly, you mean to tell me that the ALL KNOWING GOD had to borrow tithing from pagans and give it to Moses.

  • @4Kingbishop it doesn't really matter either way, the fact is it was a one time tithe on his spoils of war alone. And that tithing is under the law, for only the jews, is bondage, an outright lie and not an early Christian practice. It is true that it was a custom to give a portion of the spoils of war at that time. But that matters not, what matters is tithing is bogus, legalism, a fence law that was brought about by modern day pharisees and is yoke(bondage) on Christians and not Gods will.

  • Why do you and Russell attempt to omit Abram's tithe. You attempt to discredit his character and Russ misinform people of the appropriation of the tithe. Secondly, why do you guys base the foundation of your doctrine under the dispensation of Law and omit the420 yrs & 280 yrs before the law. Saul went thru out church doing what you and Russ are doing. What is your email?

  • Hi 4Kingbishop,

Abrah was not tithing of his own possessions but following a sumarian tradition of the distribution from the spoils of war. The remaining 90% went to the owner on who he represented (the king of Soddom)

  • @4Kingbishop: That's an excellent point but Abraham did not tithe from his own wealth. He defeated a King who had defeated sodom & had taken huge amounts of spoil from the city of sodom. Abraham rescued Lot & his belongings from this king along with the wealth of sodom. That's what he used to pay tithes. The king of sodom offered him the wealth he had recaptured for sodom but Abram refused so the sodomites could not say he was rich because of them. He wanted God to get all the glory!

  • @4Kingbishop Gal 5:1-6

Tithing and Circumcision are both "before" the giving of the 10 Commandments. Both are part of Torah. Both are part of "law" and the Christian is not to be put under a yoke of bondage. We are not under "law" or "The Law" we are under Grace.

It's not religious enough for some people... but that's the difference between the righteousness of religion and the righteousness that can only be attained through faith alone. Philippians 3.

  • you got truth. how much meat could you take? Scott (BUG)

  • Good solid teaching about tithing. Keep speaking the TRUTH.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Brother, God bless you.

We've been preaching against paying tithes and offerings, and it's amazing how the members of the congregations put up a bigger fight than the wolves who are devouring them. Pastors will not debate us or if they do they run, cause it is not biblical, yet the members are the ones who feel or act "offended" by us.

God bless you and let us all continue to let the world know the truth, as God allows us to.

  • @rabriar that is so true. i can hardly break christians away from the traditions ingrained in them from childhood

  • @roydossie1 All glory be to God, God bless you and let us keep doing it (spreading the truth) with God's help, the truth will always triumph, and best of all we have God on our side.

God bless you and continue increasing you with His knowledge.

  • @rabriar Roy Dossie Pack yesterday a lady brought a bible in to be glued. as i was talking to her about what the bible says about tithing i told her about a man i used to take to lunch. he always said a blessing before he ate. i asked him if he could eat without saying a blessing. he thought about it and said no, because it was a witness to others. .

  • @rabriar Roy Dossie Pack i thought it was about being grateful. i asked the lady if she would feel guilty if she didn't tithe, she said yes. to me both these things said the people were in bondage not freedom
