@camohat If you read the story about Samson who was to have taken a Nazarite vow from the time of his birth, you'll read that he had long hair & that Delilah cut "locks" of his hair which left the strength drain out of him. Hasidic Jewish men even today wear long locks of hair on each side of their heads. The New Testament says that it is a shame for a man to have long hair so perhaps God intended those who took the Nazarite vow to have been humbled in their spirit by the experience.

I was just watching The Book of John a half hour ago for the first time and then came on here to see a song that Bob Carlisle, BeBe Winans, and Clay Crosse did together, then here I am looking at a music video for The Book of John! I'm so happy to have met clay cross at a concert, I was the last one to get an autograph (i was like 14 years old and wasen't sure who God was), he had to go back and sing but when he saw me standing there with a sadden face to see him not sign my CD, he grabbed my hand and took me to the back and signed it personaly just to see me smile. I never forgot the purity he had in his eyes and made me want to get what he had, that was GOD in my life :) thank you so much God bless.
