I agree with Caboose565. I don't need a camera, I have one on my BB Torch. Don't need Facetime either. I like the heavier feel of the 1 gen iPad. And the iPad 1 is selling for about $349 refurbished from Apple. I've also seen them on Craigslist for $300. If the improvements on the iPad 3 are an astounding leap forward, I'll think about it then. Regarding DVD/CD players: No way. In three years we won't even be using DVDs. Like floppy disks today - obsolete. Does anyone remember floppies?

It has all the same capabilities of flash but is more secure and will include support for apple mobile devices. :D Oh and flash wouldnt overheat your ipad, i can run flash on my shitty mytouch 3g which runs a Qualcomm 528 mhz processor. The iPad runs apples a4 chip which runs at 1 ghz (rumored to have 8 to 16 cores) Im pretty sure the reason the iPad doesn't have flash isnt because its hardware cant support it...

To be honest, I have an ipad, and think that ipad 2s will be kinda cool, but i think several things are rubbish about no. 2. 1. White doesn't suit the ipad, full stop!, 2. I prefer a thicker model for the ipad, it would feel better in your hands. 3. I can live without thr cameras, seeing as I don't have a mac, but have a decent pc and am able to edit film clips etc. On the pc, i don't really need it for the ipad. And 4. Ir's really not ALL that different to the first model. I recommend if you

Garageband has been confirmed by Apple to work on iPad 1. It is not restricted to iPad 2, as you said in the video.

iMovie won't work because it needs a camera, and iPad 1 has no camera.
