Of course Paul was a good fit for maiden then, now bruce is the perfect fit for maiden, I will always love paul's voice for sure. killers is my favorite song sang by him.
Iron maiden own the universe they are gods living amongst us forget jesus and his daddy , bow to The Maiden making beauty for our ears , Up the Irons from UK
Maiden has (or had, I haven't had a chance to see them live since 7th Son) great sound engineers for live shows. Sadly, I only caught Somewhere On Tour and 7th Son.
Another band who sound is consistently awesome is Rush.
Ifucking love to listen and play this stuff. Fuck me if Iron Maiden is not one of the greatest bands ever (if you're hot chick you can fuck me anyway)
I think Bruce is the best singer Maiden got, even tought I like Paul more than Bruce. But the 2 albums Paul did with Maiden are the best records of Maiden, perhaps ever...
This was the first Maiden album I ever heard. I then eventually progressed to buying their first 3 albums and starting my Maiden facination by seeing them on the Beast tour.
Di'Anno was replaced by Bruce because Steve didn't think he had what it took to make Iron Maiden a big-time band. Di'Anno also didn't like being on tour. He also started doing drugs.
Burr left the band because the tour schedules got mixed up with his personal life.
Burr had to leave because he had multiple sclrosis if that what you mean by his personal life. he didnt want to but had no choice and the band to this day still supports him.
Dont say that. Blaze Bayley is and still is an amazing singer, always put up a good show. Sure, he maybe wasnt the 100 % material for Iron Maiden, but the two albums he did. lissen to them, they are good. And I think he did have a hard time filling those GIGANTIC shoes Bruce Dickinson left behind him.
The whole show was issued on bootleg cd a couple of years ago and it fuckin' kills! It's just come out on double vinyl too. Find it, it's one of the best metal gigs around...and great quality too...
I bought the album back then as well. I don't remember if I ever had the CD though. However, Purgatory wasn't on the Maiden Japan album that I had. I think it was probably released overseas. There were only five wicked songs... Wrathchild, Killers, Running Free, Remember tomorrow, and Innocent Exile. Maiden Rules....
Para mi Maiden solo llegan hasta el 'seventh son' lo de despues no es que me interese. Killers es un discazo y no es cuestion de comparar si Dickinson cantaría mejor o peor las canciones de los dos primeros albumes.
I discovered and started to love Maiden around 1988 (lord that´s a fucking long time)and to me Bruce is still THE singer for Maiden and I respect him so much, but as years have gone by and my musical taste has changed, I´ve started to love Paul´s singing more and more...it´s more earthy and honest.
is this the song that had been their opener when Maiden was froted by Paul DiAnno? This is my favorite and always leads me to listening to more and more metal songs when I didn't feel like it earlier.
This song, along with many others, was performed in the concert in Japan. 5 songs from this show were included in the Maiden Japan EP. Purgatory however, wasn't.
love this song they need to play iron maiden killers and the number of the beast live from start to finish

yeah.when he was in the band,a few months before he left,McBrain replaced him on some shows becouse of his illness.
McBrain was wearing Eddie's mask on his head while he was playing instead of Clive.

Actually he was on cocaine so they replaced him.
