Loosing your job and health insurance just so happens to be one of the major problems people are dealing with, but dealing with the problem of fixing that problem is too much to handle.

The entire system is a charade. The two parties differ to some degree, but it's not significant. As John Dewey said, politics is the shadow cast on society by big business.
The wealthiest 1% of the population control most of the wealth, and naturally they control the nation. The majority will remain alienated regardless of who's elected president.
It's upsetting to see lower and middle class people fight over millionaire politicians who don't care about them.
