I loved this. It's totally inept at every level. Great to know that such silliness passes as dance. How can anyone even particpate in something so lacking in talent? WOW, what a complete, silly, insulting PLUNDER!
What am I missing here? Why you all insulted like this? I don't get it! this was really great. Why take things so personnal? Can't you appreciate how good this thing is? This just as a dance is awesome performance! Its like probly because it was done by women that its causing a problem, like as if everything as to be just as it should be done in yr country or something. You all really need to get outside and see the world. There's other things out there, other ways to PORTRAIT things in life!
@MitchT22 OOOHHHH and I just went see a real Haka... and it is indeed something nice... but it just proves my point again... I really don't get your problem... I mean... this is artistically beyond anything they could ever do... the difference is that those fabulous dancers don't seem like brutes... but they do project that masculinity about the act of this... again.. REALLY WEEL DONE !!!...
Wow! That was the best Haka I have ever seen, I finally get it, or I get it on a new level. Beautiful work love the Masculine feminine play. Love that the language is so off, give it such new life. If only the ABs could keep time like this.
Is this a joke ? It is quite obscene, wrong on so many levels. Damn you Preljocaj you cultural anemic, you choreographic turnip! A hideous post colonial blunder. Embarrassingly ignorant of the subject matter. Patronizing apeing / sad imitation. Devoid of Imagination. Devoid of commentary. Dull and plodding. Ugly and crass. Dumb and insulting. Old and sad ( Like Ted Shawn really ) . Formulaic and robotic. Modern colonization from an Atoll bombing country. I hope you get your funding cut.

I worked with Preljocal and I the All blacks is my favorite team but I don't enjoy this interpretation. It is a disgrace to the Haka.

Ballet Preljocaj recently did a new zealand tour. He is into body sensations, as powerful as Almodovar, the spanish director, really.
