Thats great! I sometimes die when I grapple to the slope because she either hits it but for some reason slides off, and the other one is where she hits and hits the lava. This will help a lot! Thanks
Thanks as well, for your comment. :) Actually, I'd rather go the normal route than perform this trick if I'm not making a speedrun, cuz it's a bit hard to adjust to the exact angle and jump up at the right point. But when going the normal route, I could still manage to stay on that safe log even if I fail to land on that slope, which has got a higher success rate than this one as a matter of fact. And what's more, this trick is not allowed to be performed at a lower FPS than 30 as I found.
thats strange. It really did help though. I worked hard to improve it so I can do the jump no problem and I finshed Natla's Mines in time trial. Thanks!
It's my pleasure. Hmm, maybe I was a bit too nervous when I speedran this lvl, since a speedrun needs a much faster pace than a pure time trial, in which you don't have to play plenty of tricks in comparison. And this lvl somehow drove me mad because of so many shortcuts that have been found by so many runners. Sometimes, after performing every shortcut successfully, I would finally end up here due to my carelessness on dealing with this jump.

You can also grapple to the first spot then swing and grapple to the second, but this is much neater =]
