Just my opinion but i think the next canidant for Ran would still be Shinichi well Conan, because you can still like someone if they're ten years apart and they go through a lot together, so if it continued i think she would probably like Conan the most and fall for him again, i mean afterall its still the same person, and even if it took a while to believe i think if Ran was told what happened she would come to terms with it sooner or later, (plus he gets to stick with the detective boys XD)

lol, I remember when Ran said that she was on a date with shinichi. Conan just sat at the house until:

Conan: She can't date Shinichi!

Shinichi in background behind conan: I'm Shinichi!

I like how they showed a possible outcome that he would remain conan forever and accept the fact he never could change again, but kind of sad for Ran to endure a lonely life like that. Hope the real ending (if it happens) will not be like that.

Even if he tells her that she loves her, Ran will just treat it as Conan's words..

Same for Ran..after ten years of waiting for someone who's already beside him..

She's still willing to see Shinichi coming back for another ten years..
