Actually, I have a problem. I entered to stage 30 with 400 archers, 200 wizards and 30 craftsmen. when stage 31 entered I ended up with only 10+ archers, 10+ wizards, and 11 craftsmen. Is this a glitch? do you know anything of it? I was rly pissed
It's not a glitch...every level there will be something called unit upkeep points that's deducted from your total for the level...you have to spend the same amount that's deducted on your castle in order for you to keep your troops...so if your up keep points is 75,000 you'll end up losing 150,000 as you'll have to spend 75,000 on castle expansions...by the end of the game you do alot of math to see how much you'll have to spend on upkeep...

Thanks for this guide, I could never get far into the game because i'd always lose my units in the early rounds, and never realized you needed over 100k to keep from losing them. Found this video when I had 50k and was about to lose again and was able to turn the game around.
I also find it funny people are saying they got stumped on lvls 7-8, you should be able to solo anything below 10 with moderate ease with just your hand...
The only thing I see wrong... is that you have way too many unused units after you have 100k+ money. By the time you can afford to not spend 100k, you can use every single unit already.
wow stage 50 and 250 archers? Personally I only get about 15 workmen and 500 archers before level 30. 55 wizards is enough to endlessly convert basically. After that I just keep boosting the life of the castle and you're pretty much invincible..
I just realized something. I think I know how to get those high numbers in that castle. They run up to the castle and I give them this awesome display of "spiritual revival".

another thing on this clip, this guy tried to spare some men to train whenever he want. In my op, it's not necessary to do that cuz we can recruit some by using 3 rd spell immediately.Therefore, I use 3rd spell as my main weapon in this game.
PsI. hot keys is 1,2,3 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd spell.
PsII. Just hope u guy have fun with this game.
PsIII. Another factor is reaction time. Cuz each people has different amount of it. (0.3 sec in average) you can reduce this by practicing!!! LOL

There's another way that I succeed to reach LV 100 (and still can play afterward). You should purchase Archery immediately when u can ,and train some archs (around 20) cause this will reduce some enemies ,and than purchase mana pool and train wizs (try to reach the 3rd spell first ,and use it combine with the 2nd spell ),and workshop for the last . By this way I dont have to spend my points on repairing my castle "at all" (In my case). I also have 100 wizs 100 archs and 10 wks in LV17.

Second of all, after adjusting the way im laying, and getting my mousepad on the floor next to me, I got to the point you did, and it worked. I dont 'suck ass' at gaming. You try sitting in an awkward position for an hour or so then try to play this game. BUT, after you get past 10-15 mages, and 10 workers, your good to go for the game.

there are hot keys but when I made this video I was not aware of them. Just goes to show, how much more skilled without the keys ;p This helps with reaction time and precision so do it this way lol

haha yeh I guess I have been playing so many games with my mouse that use to having quick reaction time. To get better at it try to play games like Reflex TE. Definitely helps your quickness and accuracy.

Currently im on stage 37 with 1600 archer, 200 mages, and 50 workers. Needless to say, the my castle runs itself at this point.
I found it pretty usefull to get about 150 mages early, than just hold down the D key (hotkey for the magic convertion spell) and just start clicking like crazy at the edge of the screen, you can get souls REALLY fast.
It seems like every time i get started and start using my mages and rangers, probably around lvl 15, after the level is over, i find all of my units dead.
Is there any way to prevent this? If not, is it random? or can i plan for it?
be careful about your computer speed, at my slow computer i never died and i'm on stage 48, on my fast computer i died 5 times at stage 7

@fatmanswimming Most likely you had no money to pay them and they left.. As you see in the video I always save about 5-25k as the levels progress.

Using "Hot Keys" is what you meant and they are implemented in many games to make it easier on the player when doing certain tasks.
It would be harder and longer to do it without the hot keys but that is the challenge.
Plus I did not even know they had hot keys for the game till after I made the video.
It made the game more challenging anyway.
Hot keys make things to easy.

Make sure to follow this video exactly as I give the tips.
Save at least 100k every round. Notice I don't spend all of my money because you need it to pay for your units so they don't "die".
Just save your money each round as long as you can.

so if you have 8 mages you have to pay 1600
so if you have 0 at the end of the round you cant pay them for the start of the new one..
so save your money when you click to start next level :)
