This is definitely a DIY tool. if you want more mixing power just lengthen the chain by one link or two and add two more levels of chain up the rod and you got something there!
Cool idea. I concur with Tim (AskTheBuilder)... paddle mixing is MUCH faster, although you do a good job of pointing out the benefits... enough that I'll spotlight this on our blog sometime this week.
Very interesting. Seems a little slow at mixing though. A traditional paddle mixer seems it would beat it. Do a side-by-side test and post that video.

you can buy this in a store i had one it was good but a pane to clean putty and paint out of the chain
