I have had the Nokia N95 8GB for a few years now and after comparing the original i-phone's specification to the N95 8GB I chose the N95 8GB.

thats just the active standby setting.. you must have it turned off.. just go to settings-display-my active standby and turn that on.. that should do the trick for you :)

o that is the menu to show what programs are running. you press and hold the menu key for like 2 or 3 seconds.

yep it is better in almost everyway camera,functions, video capture,connectivity, little or no restrictions.

the iphone is better on a fewpoints such as music, video playback and pretty UI.

the 'grids' inside the camera function is for applying "The Rule of Thirds" which is widely used in photography and other form of visual arts. Maybe it's a way for Nokia to tell that the new n95 is also meant for pro photographers, i guess so.. :P

lol, that seems like a lot of things to be doing at once. hmmm... i am not too sure about the keyboard and the headset at once but i am sure that you can use the GPS while using a keyboard or a headset. that is if you are talking about the internal GPS.

its the golden ratio! its there to help you compose the picture more easily rather then making you visualise it when composing the picture..

on topic im so gona go get myself one of these. extremly poor camera. but the again who uses it when one have a DSLR from canon.

unfortunately this is not USA 3G but it is EUROPE 3G, but it does support EDGE which is not bad for regular web browsing.

it would have been better if it was usa 3g... cingular/at&t is kinda slow, medianet don't even work with my slingbox, but it works fine with wi-fi... thanks for the info i was ganna buy it but never mind i thought it's ganna be usa 3g... i'll keep my old n95...
