  • GERINA DOVE is a desperate troll

  • This was the staple of every under 21 club in the late 80's & early 90's in Kansas City. Can i get a whoop whoop for Starz on Broadway KC folks?

  • @kinkycommie Hellz yeah! Loved Starz...Oasis and Pogo's! Good times.

  • Brings back serious memories at the clubs!!!!

  • This song was a Chris Sheppard Saturday night classic!! Awesome to hear it again!!

  • I dj'd at Boys and Girls as well as some other guest spots - still have the vinyl for this one, just couldn't let it go - love to all my fellow ATL friends from those days

  • Plastic Atlanta 1991.

  • I gotta throw one in for the Htown sound that was invaded in the late 80's and early 90's

  • oh damn, what memories of City Club in Detroit.

  • this music really sucks!

  • Takes me straight back to the Majestic. The Daze....

  • 1989 Atlanta, GA "Boys and Girls" club on LaVista--so many good times!

  • "Got it!"

  • 8o's classic, reminds of The Red Jacket in Dallas, 1998

  • I grew up on this song! And it still rules. Thank you so much for posting.

  • look at all of these ATL people on the you tube, remembering the clubs! i didn't realize there were so many of us running in the streets.

  • @silkyjumbo PLASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @silkyjumbo Kinda a small world, right?

  • this was the anthem back in the day! Damn! So glad this was posted. Nice one, Miles Files.

  • Mmmm... Boys and Girls! Plastics! Colorbox on Highland! WKNDS on Ptree! Those were the days of dancing till you were soaked!

  • I'll bet I know you! I lived in those places!! There will never be another time like growing up in Atlanta then!!!

  • You just might. I DJ'd at Wknds on Ptree for a short while and then at the Spring street Wknds. A few guest spots at Boys and Girls and Backstreet.

  • I was always invading the DJ booth at Boys and Girls, Backstreet, AND Weekends....even ventured over to "Lolo's" next door on occasion :D The DJ's were awesome (thanks;) Would love to drive up and walk thru the door right now. Do you remember a song that had 'crucify' or 'crucify me' in it?? No, it's NOT Madonna. I even went to Wax and Facts, they said it was from England or Europe and was very rare. I would love to have a copy of it, just don't know the title of the track or the group name.

  • I may be wrong, but I think Sisters of Mercy did that

    'crucify me" song

  • Nope, this one had a chick singing, real slow, then it would speed up. It had to have been a mix??

  • @BriteDaze08 i tried to post this once but it didn't work - moev, "crucify me." there's a remix on here somewhere.

  • army of lovers : crucify

  • Awesome! In 1988, they played this all the time at Boys & Girls, a nightclub in Atlanta. Great memories!

  • i loved Boys & Girls.

  • Me too...I remember when water there was free, for a while ;)

  • classic track

  • Like they say, different strokes for different folks. RSW was all over it in the 80s...Classic sound!!

  • You're joking...?!

  • Yo've never heard Nocturne's huh?

    I guess not.

  • As a cover???? You're surely joking. I just listened to the Nocturne version and it was terrible.

  • They killed Renegade Soundwave 100%, They acually made this song into what the youth of America call MUSIC, insted of words, and the occasional instrument.

  • Yes the youth of America invented music. Sure buddy. Keep dreaming. You keep loving your Jonas Brothers pal.

  • hahaha.

This is not what I meant.

    But whatever.

    And Jonas Brothers?

Who the hell is talking about them?

Jesus, you are one sad person.

  • Like adamochs suggests...the 80s were cutting edge, and invented/owned the sounds many new bands are trying to COVER (key word Rio, COVER...not create.) RSW created the song and that's all there is....case closed. Oh, and all this took place before you were BORN, son.

  • Lol HAHAHAHA

Yeah, keep listening to your Jonas Brothers

  • HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY the 90's ROCKED IN MANY WAYS loving it Hi all renagade fans randy

  • oh yeah...I was looking for this months ago...thanks!!!!!

  • This is "Turbo Lust mix" not original version.

  • May quite possibly be....No where on my LP does is say though. This version is definitely THE BEST though...TURBO LUST!!!

  • @degrooo Spot on. The original version goes 5:31 and has nowhere been uploaded on YT so far. Yes I'm serious. All you can find is the Dub Mix, both in original and in 45RPM speed (the latter sounds crap though).

  • Aaaaah!!! Dooooooope!!! Memories of underground college radio stations in New York introducing me to this band and it's music...=D!!

" Rub a little on your gums....lick it off the tip of your tongue..."

    F*cking CLASSIC!!

    BAMF!

  • ....Ha Ha Ha! 5:25 C,mon, we have all been there!! Gett'in the dance floor working....!!

  • Takes me back to Industry in Dallas when I was underage with a fake ID. I think I still have this original tape somewhere. Thanks!

  • true retro alternative tune i heard only at todds in detroit, brings back great memories. still cant believe i had my hair spiked up like that back then, great to be young with out a care in the world

  • You rock Buddy...Thanks again...Awesome tune! HoosierGreek and I are both lovin it!!

Classic bar feel from College days... Yummmmmmm!!! Thanky thanky

  • This period was very exciting for me because i started partying (i was 15 years old) and it was an new music era with new sounds like M.A.A.R.S., Bomb the bass, acid house too, and many others. Thanks for posting. Peace.

  • I remember this song in 1988 at La Chapelle club in Belgium.

  • Yeah, I remember I was partying in D.C. in 1988...Heard it at a club called Tracks (on a Thursday night "straight night" of course!) More good lookin' women there than any other club in D.C. and Georgetown....some all the way from Jersey and NYC (sigh...God I miss the Eighties...)

  • Tracks was THE BOMB!!!

  • Haha, I heard it at the old 930 Club at a They Might Be Giants show... aaand hadn't heard it since then. It's been 20 years! Thanks for puttin it up
