@lfergie111 i always found that to be the best way to put it. i use to have it and it truly is something no1 deserves to feel and if you think about what that means and youve not had it itl give you an idea of how bad it is - but also its not what you go through in life its who you go through it with the more alone you are to face things the more amplified the pain becomes i learnt this the hard way and any one who has experienced it deserves respect !
My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND which is the former Gestapo. I recorded more than 100 videotapes of this. On July11th09 he was assassinated because of our homepage linked on my channel. My brother never developed PTSD.
fumerhagen, you dumb shit, you sit your fat ass in your computer chair and you talk about how ppl miles away on the front line are cowards, well id like to see you in their possition
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Patton was fired because he was mouthy to his superiors, not because bitch slapped a snivelling coward. Soldiers are fighting and dying on the frontline, looking after each other as they conquer an evil that could crush the free the world. And someone wants to run away back to the rear and "shake" and whine that it's "all too much"?? SHOOT FAG COWARDS WITH THRIFT AND EFFICIENT DISPATCH - they are the opposite of actual men or actual allied soldiers - full stop.
Those men pushed themselves to the brink of insanity by being in combat, and you call them cowards? Every man has a breaking point meregan, I don't care who you are.
@eggsaladinthetub I think you misunderstood what I said. I wasn't commenting on combat, I was commenting on the men and women that went through military service and came out with PTSD, depression, or other mental health issues by saying they were pushed to "the brink". My comment above was directed at an earlier comment that called traumatized veterans "cowards." I meant the above comment to show my respect to what some military members have to go through, hardship that I could not image.
@freemasonxxx how could you call these soldiers cowards? They went through one of the most traumatic scene one could imagine. Seeing death ridden on their mind!!
it's not their fault that they had a heart and that now its diseased with the images they have seen!
shut up, you speak like you know what youre saying, like youve lived it, unless you have.stop calling people cowards, your instincts tell you to survive, sometimes to survive, you must run
You dont know what you're talkiing about. I'd like to know what a veteran would say about your wonderful comment. War is scary, makes grown men cry for their mothers! Ever seen saving private ryan? We get an idea of how it was and I was damn hard. "I mmight be dead tomorrow." An harsh reality that soldiers faced every day. So shut up your princess like mouth and show some respect for those who got mental scars, for those who were victims of the fear of dying.
To all those soldiers who are experiencing a PTSD its not easy for them to overcome in what they are experiencing so hard for them,so to the families, friends, please help them understand them and always feel for them that u care...
There are a lot of things wrong with this. To just point out a single thing, Patton didn't lose his command, that event took place when he died. Also it would probably behoove this disorder, which is very serious, to be addressed by somebody who actually knows what they are talking about, and not some little girl from Canada.
Excellent naration i found my mother dead when i was 16 I replayed that event over and over until I thought I was insane. I joined the australian army and I thought I was Invincible. It took some time after doing the ptsd program but now Im cool
I have PTSD and i've seen things as a child, things like what happens in war, it's not only soldiers who see those things..:( just thought you should know that...
@Ainhoa1666 There are many people that experience childhood trauma. I have been researching this and how these adult children (if they don't kill them self - either slowly or by quicker suicidal act). I am posting videos with bits of info that I have collected on what makes kids (and adults, but especially children) vulnerable to PTSD. One that I have found is the overall emotional and physical support the child is living in.. and that includes nutritional state of the child's body/brain.
at 1:30,lol.thats the only thing me and hitler got in common.i dont like jehovah witnesses either.i wonder if they came knockin at his door at sunday mornings.
until you look into a soliders eyes and see the horrors that lurk behind them, you will never truely understand there suffering! they dont want to hurt anyone... they cant get the images of war out of their minds and it rips them apart inside
read the book "on killing" if you trully want to understand what the mind goes through when asked to kill another man. This book also shows the PTSD isnt typically caused by what you see or by being in danger but is caused by fear of letting down your comrades, by seeing a friend die and wondering if it was your fualt b/c you didnt pull the trigger fast enough. If you do pull the trigger your left wondering if the man you killed was really giong to kill you or your friend. Its loss lose.
i have it and i never went to war some people are so stupid...im fuckin scared everyday its a serious illness. Im only 23 and super mentally strong but it got the best of me and took over it wasnt me anymore.....
eastbaypunk151 i served in vietnam from 1969-1971 all you need to do is do what you are taught and be prepared for what lies ahead right now you might think that you are doing this for country and freedom but when you get over there if you join it is all about the brother next to you.
@SgtJimPatmore Right on, I served in the Royal Canadian Regiment from 1999-2006. I did 3 tours in various places and what you said is the truth. I could hate a guy in my section back home, but the second we step foot outside the compound I have his back and he has mine. The flag on your arm doesn't mean as much as the guy next to you where the metal meets the flesh.
believe it or not, we dont want to be around people, let alone hurt anybody, as sam had stated. On my account, people shouldnt be afraid of me, I am more afraid of you all people, believe me or not. gang violence, freeway shootings, rapes, this is the country I came back to. And you are scared of us??? HA!
Nobody has warned the young criminals in this country that they might provoke and/or agitate a soldier returning from an overseas deployment. So mothers tell your children. If you don't, then don't blame the system, blame yourself. Peace on earth and good will to men.
your message shows your ignorance. We with PTSD don't want to murder anyone, we have a war inside us and do not even being around people let alone messing with thugs!!! Give us a break, geez!!!
