One of Paul Blaisdell's greatest creature costumes! This may have been the ONLY film 30s great Chester Morris made in the 1950s. Bela Lugosi was slated to play the role, but backed out due to ill health. The book "The Search for Bridey Murphy", a story about an alleged true case of reincarnation was popular at the time and inspired some of the plot here.

i seen that one to i didn't like it.I can see this old one remade same story line with a more hideous creature.this was their problem the creature looked too fake,i think rick baker could make an awesome creature for this movie

This was good but I actually liked the remake, "Creature of Destruction" better. Sure the monster in COD pailed in comparrison to this one but the pace was better.
