E quì si spiega il perchè bollani non abbia grande successo come altri pianisti ! Ascoltate bene questo pezza, potrà sembrarvi strano , poco armonioso e anche un pò bruttino, ma quì c'è tutta la grande arte di pianista jazz! Non ascoltate le note che suona, ma ascoltate le pause, ascoltate i cambiamenti di ritmo. Questa E' una musica per pochi troppo complessa per arrivare alla massa!

He's a genius!! He's trying to recontextualize ragtime with lot's of syncopated rhythms mixed with little spruces of jazz styles from different periods. Very interesting.

Without ragtime there wouldn't be jazz. The sound of the Maple Leaf Rag isn't even really present in this bizarre interpretation.

I am not sure why people get their panties in a wad - I am certain this fella can play the tune as written but why not put a modern jazz spin on it. It's not a freakin' felony.

I am guessing this was performed in Italy. An american tune, played on an american piano, played in an alternate american style, in Italy, possibly by an Italian (though profile claims american). That's pretty cool.
