  • muito bom!!!!

  • DOODLE DOODLE DEE WUBBA WUBBA WUBBA WUBBA

  • They are really talented, but this one seems to have real pro back round music.

  • I made my dad listen to their music, and he was like, "Wow! They are so awesome!!! When were they around?"

    and I was like, "NOW!!!"

My dad really likes old country/roots music best, so this was the best compliment ever!

  • My god Laura is beautiful!

    I love her curves. : D

  • beatles feeling

  • Why does this video stop and lag?

    FU Youtube.

  • shhh im a secret sister

  • Nice melodies..they really can sing..and this is not my normal type of music but I heard it on the radio this morning on the way to work and was I impressed!!

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these girls...the harmony, the music, the attire...everything.

  • They have a good sound, but their look needs some help. I get that they're trying to look '40s, but their dresses could be a better quality. They should hire a seemstress who can make them some quality outfits.

  • they're so classic - and beautiful and wow!! what talent!! - love these girls they're amazing xo

  • just saw them last night with Amos Lee, FANTASTIC!!

  • even their dresses are so 50's haha. beautiful.

  • I "stumbled" across Secret Sisters while searching for "trail rides in Alabama" -- and on one of the sites, they were listed as perfomers "near" the site I plan on riding -- I spent at least an hour listening to as many of their performances that I could find. Pure Harmony, ability to really sing with no technical help, and actually they have a lot of scope. I personally think that these girls do have a chance to go big. It's their refreshing musicality and harmony that catches the ear.

  • Your first flame war. Your officially famous now.

  • Oh god. I honestly though this was a cover of the Black Eyed Peas song. =)) Hahaha. It's kinda... sweet. To hear artists like these. Almost a refreshing breather from the electropop vocal blitz we hear blaring out of our radios today.

  • I have seen these girls live twice. Once supporting Ray Lamontage at the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank, London and at a small venue in Hoxton, London. They were absolutely awesome!!!

  • Back to the 50s. Sweet!

  • They're so pretty! :)

  • Love them!!!

  • Retro Music needs revived. I'm tired of this new crap !

  • I can't decide whether I like them or not, there sound isn't too bad, but not as good as contemporary artists of a similar genre, like She & Him. I think they look awkward while performing as well.

  • i love this kind of music, but their voices just arent that good. but i do really love the songs and style

  • These girls are SUPER COOOL! They're smart to have revive 'retro music' in this hip hop/electronic music generation. They really stand out among all the artist all over the world. Though its an old song, it is new to our generations. New=unique=creativity=POTENTIALLY sustainable in the industry. I need more ofthis music in this hectic life of ours.

  • Great act buy sadly the state of music today will never let them become huge. What a pity.

  • I feel very sorry for this Savanna person. So consumed by envy, the sense of entitlement, or just plain full of spite and bitterness I just cannot tell. I pray that she will find peace one day and apologize to the Secret Sisters for hijacking a thread to pursue an argument with a person over infringements perceived or otherwise.

When I found these girls I looked into the origins of their songs and listened to the originals. Seeing the vehemence of the originator I can say this one is better.

  • It's a really neat feeling to have heard you gals a few months ago through some ad on Facebook, and now I'm hearing you on my local radio station. Keep up the amazing work!!

  • @Savanna1ish your retarted, savanna. just let this whole thing go.

  • @Savanna1ish The way it was explained to me is that it is done through the australian government and they pay one fee to license all songs on a cd to the government, who then pays out royalties where they are due and put the rest of the money in a quit-claim fund that gets paid out kind of like what Sound Exchange does in the states.

Your entertainment lawyer shouldve informed you that you have a right of claim on your recordings due to lack of royalties etc. It's a fairly new law i think.

  • @Savanna1ish Because you never got paid for your music back in the 60s (or subsuquently since then) anyone interested in your songs can license them from you directly (mostly because the original record companies do not exist anymore and no one knows who owns the master tapes now), an interested party could pay you anywhere from a few dollars to a few hundred per song depending on how many copies of a compilation theyre planning on issuing. Thats why i would go to the artists directly, myself.

  • Is @Savanna1ish Nancy Baron?? Because she didn't even write the original song - just sang it. Wasn't it Wally Zober who wrote the song?

    I prefer this version anyways

  • @crystaaaahl Yes, and yes. She closed that account and re-opened a new account (you can find her comments by looking up other Nancy Baron videos on here). I think she was just upset that someone else was finding fame with their version of a song she had done nearly 50 years earlier. I don't blame her for being upset but I think she should've handled herself differently. It's a real shame I had to lose a friend over this song but that's the music business for you...I still like her music though.

  • @Savanna1ish The Australian record label owner wouldnt get in any legal trouble since he would be doing it the technical legal way but ive always been all for licensing songs from artists directly so that they actually get money, that just isnt how he does things. He has a song on a cd by another friend of mine, i asked him, and he never got a cent for it, but it was licensed legally...the music industry sucks and people sign bad contracts which prevents them from getting due money.

  • @Savanna1ish I dont get what you mean when you say derogatory reviews of your version... one review i saw called your version a classic and the new one a clone where the singers looked uncomfortable singing it...

  • @Savanna1ish By mentioning your name in my remark, it makes people realize "oh, this is a new version of an old song", sorry if you dont like that term, but if people want to hear the original they can easily take what info i've posted and look for "Nancy Baron - I've Got A Feeling". For anyone who wants to license the original, i wont post your email address in public but anyone interested can certainly contact me or you directly for useage rights...

  • @Savanna1ish 1) they didn't use you. Their producer discovered your old record, and had this new group record their own version of it, thus getting YOUR NAME back into the spotlight. You should be happy, as I am. 2) I did not ignore your request to upload Oh Yeah, I plan to get it up as soon as I can find the 45. I have 6,000 45's here that are not filed away in any specific order, on top of working 50 hours a week, it might take me just a little while to find the record.

  • @Savanna1ish Lady, I gotta say, you're an idiot. If something was done a number of years back, it's OLD. Music from the 70's is OLD, music from the 40's is OLD. Hell, music from two months ago is OLD in this industry. If you didn't taken care of your licensing issues when they should have been taken care of, that's your issue, and you don't need to go around blaming others for your troubles and tearing on about it on Youtube. Take your nonsense to private emails and be done with it.

  • @Savanna1ish And another thing - you are NOT a "class" act to be acting this way on another artists wall. I Personally, I would've have recognized this as an "OLD" song, and probably went out to search for the original. But if potential listeners see you going on like this, they're not going to want to support you. I sure as heck don't now. Take it private next time, and maybe you'll gain the attention you think you deserve, rather than the attention you DO deserve acting bitter and angry.

  • @Direness So hun!!!!!!!! why are they supporting BELLOWHEAD TOUR 2012.........!!!!!!!!!!! YOU TALK SUCH CRAP!

  • @MrByronio Why would you be so rude?...........If you don't like big ladies, why don't you kick your wife and your mom out of the house?

  • If you think the fashions bad go back to whatever hell you came from lol its perfect

  • If you think the fashions bad go back to whatever hell you came from lol its perfect

  • I saw them perform at a Willie Nelson concert.

  • Imagine my shock to learn that you girls covered my friend Nancy Baron's old record! Excellent rendition of it, too!

  • @Savanna1ish I'm not sure what you mean....they're not allowed to cover your song? I think they did a good version of it. It has introduced at least a few people to your version, and hopefully people will like yours too, you should be happy that someone out there has taken a 48 year old song and made a new recording of it. Maybe it will lead to someone licensing your song from you for a cd, since the label never paid you and you can claim ownership of the master recording as a result....

  • heh...works better on record. not a live act here

  • If you loved phil and don....You will die for these girls.......WOW!!!!!

  • such amazing singers and the sweetest girls ive ever met!

  • I love this performance too!!!

  • Love it, ladies!
