This is one of Sabbath's more surprising tracks. Usually, heavy metal bands employing horns is a bad idea, but here, it's a metal band playing a straight-ahead street jazz piece that sounds more like something you'd find on the soundtrack of a 1970s cop action film. Whenever I hear this I picture things like the 1970s TV series Kojak or some other type of 1970s action shoot,em up complete with detectives with longish hair, sideburns, and fedors chasing "perps" over fences and the like.
@TheDeev Its like Ozzy they never wanted to play heavy all the way through.Tony likes Jazz and Bill too. This music piece sets up the next song perfect
I have been looking for this for months! I kept thinking of the album jacket and thinking Blue Oyster Cult for some damned reason....then some Yahoo article on the 10 worst rock albums has THIS one...what a load! This is AWESOME. I was killing myself trying to remember...this was made my first year of High School in Calif..OP shorts, my new Capri, Boogie Boarding, beach all summer...Jack in the Box tacos....hot friggin' Cali chicks EVERYWHERE..and NSD at the end of the day...memories
@SD1Chargers what a crock, bro!! This album one of the ten worst of rock?? what about fagtastic Nickelback and Jonas Bros. probably 10 shitty cds right there, just them too
This amazing track should be uploaded together with Swinging the Chain. You lose that exhilarating eruption/ejaculation/explosion effect you feel at the end of this and the start of that, now that the two are separated. Pure bliss!
and dems slow azz quiet storm funk influence

I'll bet Sabbath + horns looked bad on paper. Glad they tried it anyways. Most underrated rock album of all time.
