oh thanks for the info. i thought villar records were the ones who recorded them to CD. Anyway, thanks so much for posting the TRUE vinyls even in 78's hahaha these are very rare recordings indeed and i LOVE kundiman. Bihira na ang mga nag appreciate ng ganung musica SALAMAT talaga po sa pag post!

I used to have this record but in LP version a record of my dad which later i gave to a friend of mine. Very rare indeed and i think Villar records have remastered them now on CD format. Salamat po!

@chenwenhua2269: No, Villar Records have not "remastered" any of their recordings in original vinyl phonograph recordings after they ceased from publishing them sometime during the late 1990's. What you see being sold at Malls now are RE-ISSUED versions with low quality audio from old and sometimes worn out vinyl phonographs (yes you can hear the clicks and crackles). The label of these re-issued materials in CD format does not carry the name Villar anymore but something else.

I know this song as 4 versions under 3 titles: Pandangguhan, Apat Na Dahilan and Ligawan. Pilita Corrales sings Apat Na Dahilan in her album Salakot. Armida Siguion-Reyna sings Ligawan on Aawitan Kita and Mabuhay Singers sing Pandangguhan but with different lyrics than this version.
