I wanted your help as I wanted to know if you went with some tour company and if so which organiser did you go with? Were they good and flexible? Any feedback on this front would be much appreciated.
@desaiu hi, we went by ourself. Really easy and safe. Just land in Kathmandou and book the plane ticket from Kathmandou to Lukla with the office where you stay in Kathmandou. Every hotel/hostel/cheap hostel can book you a plane for you. You can book an "open-ticket" to lukla where you can come back the day you want. That is way I suggest if ever you want to take it more easy on the mountain and if ever you get sick !
Awesome Video, great work editing it. The photo's and film combined really work well. Did the same trip last October/November and it was absolutely the best trip I have ever made. May I ask what songs you used in the video? I have made some video footage myself too and still looking for good music!
wow you have us both in tears. We are off there in 9 weeks. Just pray we have same weather as you two... Sheer class mate thanks for sharing this with us... Cheers julie and Michael
@barbarax30 Lonely Planet book ? haha We booked everything by ourself and did the trekking alone without guide/porters... It's really easy in the everest region. If i can suggest a good book: Trekking in the Himalaya Region by Jamie McGuiness. Good luck!
@jazer301 We made it to Gokyo Ri... but we were in the clouds and just took a few pictures when we got like a minute of clear sky and straight view to Mt Everes (check the video at 9:03!) even the view from the gokyo 5th lake is amazing !
nice video fred! i probably watch it once per week! anyway can you tell me the title of the song that starts playing at cho la and ends in namche? im trekking ebc this coming march. greatly inspired by your vid. cheers!
wow!! you made a great video. i am truly impressed :) in a couple of days (in 16 dec) i will go to nepal with my father, do to almost the exact same trip. we are going to EBC too, via Gokyo lakes. (we do it in 17 days) i hope we will had a great time. thank you once again for the great video shared
I really love this clip, thank you so much! I know it's not easy to take pictures and shoot video whilst climbing but the quality of your pictures are really amazing! The music is perfectly matched with the clip as well, it must have been a wonderful journey! I hope to do the trekking not so far from now :)
I'm leaving to do this trek in 22 days! You say anyone can do this in the info part... Is that really the case? I am starting to get really nervous as to whether I'm physically up to it now... =S.
very well put together! Enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing!
