Love this movie I remember when I told my mother she told me that she always thought I would be the one that would like girls lol. And my dad disowned me but later came around and now we go girl watching together lmao

Beth must have a hell of a lot of patience. I'd have cracked it if my mum was saying those things about my life when they were on the bed. So ignorant! I'll just put it down to the 90's.Although it would have been good if Beth put her in her place.

it's not just in 90's ... a lot of parents still react like that in 2009 ! they don't think about their children being gay ! i think Beth handles that very well, she's not afraid to tell her mum the things as they are. but of course she's young and apparently has lived some bad stuff because of her dad so her mum does not look convinced ... what a shame !

Me too, I generally try to ignore female celebs(all celebs in fact), but watching Anna in something like this week after week for 18 months, I developed a crush on her. To be honest I was hoping she would come out in real life too. lol :-)
