  • what exactly can you do with c++? Can you develop some basic 3d games?

  • @WanabeGorilla You can develop amazing 3D games. Games like COD and HALO were made with C++ or C#

  • what is || how do you type it ??

    cuz i tried l's and i's and 1's

  • @kelly2000398 um you know this key right? \ well when you hold Shift and press that key,it appears | so there ya go :D

btw I love your tutorials dude, they are rly helpful cheers ^^

  • @kelly2000398 lol!

  • You are the best, Thank you very much)))

  • @TheCowherdingjoe

y wud u want 2 typ out the hol word?

  • To P, or not to P, that is the question.

  • excellent man! i love your tuts! I understand everything!

  • Thanks that helped because I'm making a rock paper scissors game in c++ and I was always wondering how to make pairs, thanks you're awesome. I'm watching your tutorials!

  • EVERYONE WHO IS READING THIS!!

You dont have to do std:: on everything. Right below #include type in-

    using namespace std;

It will make so you dont have to do std:: for everything.

    <3

  • are you teaching c++ ox also ???

  • Back in the old computer days, binary true and false were represented by lights...false or 0 would mean the light was off, or true or 1, would mean the light was on. Look at something in your house that has a switch to turn on or off...There should be a 0 and a 1. 0 means the device is off, while 1 means the device is on. Now you know if your vacuum cleaner is off, or if it just came unplugged.

  • i am a bit confused, if P is true and Q is false then why is P or Q 1, my logic is that or means total random

  • @KomukiZ Only one value when using OR || must be true.

  • To P or not to P

  • thx bro its so helpful for me

  • I'll be the first dick to dislike it. Because I CAN.

  • Great job on the lessons, the advertisement's suck though.

  • how do u write does "or" lines?

  • @MultiJamestv you press shift + back slash

  • I've got physics and we've got a thing, we call it a systeembord...

Anyway there is something on it called the Of-Poort (Or-Port)

If you put 2 switches to it and the end of the Or-Port to a LED you get the samen true and false table as with the or table... because 1 switch True = LED True the other switch True = LED True both True is LED True but both false = LED false...

Some people may understand what I'm talking about, I think I can compare it..

  • @PoizonFart

i think i know what you mean,

i've been studying electronics for 3 years and we used the electric gates nor ,or ,xor, and , not

and it works exactly the same as an electric circle, just like studying binary codes all over again :)

  • i like the way he explains *^_^* makes me understand better

  • thx for tutorial, but music is scary

  • What? I did not understand anything.

  • these are great! Subscribed!!!

  • his voice makes me slee.. *snoring* (good tutorial btw)

  • BEST TUTORIALS EVER :D SUBBED

  • I am learning this much faster with these tuts than i would have done with book! thanks:)

  • what does << mean? And what does the letter b placed infront of bP do?

  • @mrshauntham << means the direction where the data is going, I cant really explain why b is infront of P that much but ill say: bool starts whit an B, you put the b infront of the P to show that its got something hit bool to do. hope it helps

  • the best c++ tutorials on the internet <3

  • what key is the double lines? for using the expression "OR" lol cant figure it out

  • why don't u use "include namespace std;"?

  • @joaoris I believe he did that so get people to using this method of namespaces.

  • do you have to use P and Q or can you choose them yourself?

  • all hail xoax

  • Is the preparation window made in c++ too? if so what form?

    (console, win32, empty)

  • @mathijswy check tutorial lesson 1

  • haha ur tutorials are very well done :) i have already learned stuff that u havn't even taught yet in ur tuts just by experienting and being reasonable. AND ive only been watching ur tutorials :DDD

  • Comment removed

  • errr you lost me in this lesson can somebody help me on this. >.< lol.

  • @TheMadcroc23 lol it is about the logic gates AND, OR, NOT and more are NAND, XOR etc..

The ones used in electronic circuits .. and discrete mathamatics.

But now we are using them in c++ :P

  • How do you get it to stay on the command prompt screen? Mine just goes away really quickly.

  • @mynameisjonas45 put std::cin.get(); after the main command

  • when i'm typing in my code i keep getting a little drop dop box saying 1 0f 17 an then a line of code, how can i turn this off, microsoft visual c++ 2010 express.

  • @GGAlice1 : i dont thid you can, owell its nothing to worry about just ignore it

  • Is there also an XOR operation:

    true true false

    true false true

    false true true

    false false false

    like this?

  • thanks for new version

  • how you can type those 2 straight lines at 0:51 and then 2. or => ?

  • @kakkismukkis It is the key above the enter key, \

  • @kakkismukkis Push the button beside 1

  • Why not mention xor as well? what's the symbol for that, btw? &| or something?

  • nice tuts but they're rather complex so i will have to wach this vid ove again

  • i have a question. how would you type the two vertical lines for the OR symbol? im not sure if thats on a keybord.. or maybe im not looking hard enough lol.

Anyways, these are great videos im going to email them to my friends. Thanks for making them.

  • @Grandboy3000

Idk if u found it already. but it's a shifted symbol on the key with the back slash. (Right above the main Enter key.)

  • awesome but when you are noob like me it is hard to get it, but i will watch and keep on rewatching, thx

  • awesome

  • Very nice! i love your tuts :P

  • @d0nnis112 what does it look like 'i love your tits'? O.O lol

  • @d0nnis112 lmao i read it as i love your nuts

  • @d0nnis112 at first i thought that said i love your nuts xD

  • nice, once one studies Boolean algebra, and logic gate circuitry, one can easily understand how the different logical operations interact on the physical hardware level, good post.
