Hard to believe this came out 20 years ago. I listen to it now and it brings back so many memories. This was part of the soundtrack of my youth, but I never saw this video, or even knew what the band looked like. She is a real talent. Too bad nothing else came out of the band.
I worked a rehab in Torrance, Ca in the 90's and Inger was in there, She was a really nice person. Keith Morris from the Circle Jerks came to visit her often. I wish her the best, I hope she is doing good...
@CMarshallD Hey!! I grew up in Torrance. I went to North High. The era when I discoverd a lot of great alternative bands. The era when I started to get into Depeche Mode in 1990, I was 12 years old.
Awesome! I listened to this album at least twice a day for several months when it was released. I still listen to it regularly - LOUD! This is one of the best, least recognized bands of the 90's. Too bad the studios screwed 'em around - who knows how much more they could have given us.
this was recorded at the whiskey in the early 90's. i remember right off the bat, inger grabbed a bouncer by the collar and pulls him off balance and tosses him into the pit because he had shoved a girl back into the crowd. she said "this is my stage!" and they started their first song.
then they did imitating angels 2 or 3 times. it's a shame the video and band got canned. yet another music industry casualty.
someone made a vinyl vocal epic trance song from this song, i was wondering who the band was who assigned the rights, to bad this band is gone they could have made huge loot with right promoter and sound studio backing them
@zrodn001, that reminds me of what Ratt's Robbin Crosby said about an underground band whose demos he produced. They were called Mail Order Brides. He said they had the potential to be as successful as Soundgarden and Alice in Chains.
She is a spicy little minx. the band were all so nice, every track on that album could of been a single. A leather biker jacket signed in silver ink by all the Nymphs + love/hate for sale. make me an offer !
Wow, great to see this! Their album takes me back to happy days of endless summers and no cares and loads of acid :-) Saw them at the Marquee way back when, twas awesome.
Huge thanks for posting this up. If this was the show at the Whiskey in Hollywood, I was there. And got thrown out during this video for stage diving, heh. Awesome band with so much potential. Its such a drag that they couldn't hold it together longer.
THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!! This is my favourite song ever I love it so much. Inger Lorre is my idol <3<3<3 What happened to this band ? I Love The Nymphs
Great seeing this video up here. I don't ever think it was seen on TV at all. Have no fear, Inger has revived, a new version of the Nymphs for the 21st century! They did a couple killer shows in 2006 with more to come.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! For someone finally posting this song and video!!! I was flipping thru channels one night about 3 years ago, and Courtney Love was hosting Mtv2 for a whole 24 hours and it was nothing but artists Courtney liked and wanted to play.... And thats where I first heard of this song and the Nymphs. Thanks Courtney!

So tragic about Alex
This song sounds like a song Concrete Blond would do, Inger and Johnette have similar voices as well.

Inger Lorre slapped me- during this performance, she wound up lying on the stage right in front of me so I layed one on her!
This is also the Whiskey Au-go-go where I believe Celebrity Skin also performed as characters from The WIzard of Oz

@CMarshallD, I take it she was there because her boyfriend's death lead her to debauchery.
