Really? An "excellent" show? He didn't even last 2 hours on stage. No Cherry Bomb? Are you kidding me? I want my money back. This was my 5th JM concert. Used play his ass off for 3 hours. His band wasn't even on stage for more than 90 mins! His best days are behind him. Kinda sad that the top 10 rows were empty.

Small Town was never done with capo on 4th fret. That would make the song being done in the key of "G". Song was recorded in "G" and Mellencamp has always played it in "G". Checkout the video of Small Town(younger days), it clearly shows him playing open "G" chord.

I checked some other video's and his guitar there is not tuned to standard tuning because to come close the capo is on 4 try it

ZEEK827: Not sure what's going on. I checked, and recording is done in key of B, yet all videos show him playing it in key of G. Yes, I know he is "faking" it on the video. Also, Pink Houses is recorded in key of G, yet in the video, he has capo at 4th fret (key of B). My opinion, in videos he doesn't give a damn if chords he is "faking" match key of actual original recording. Also noticed on this Small Town Live video, he is using D major and C major chords instead of Dsus2 and C9.
