Genetic markers found in modern Greeks are similar to ancient Greeks and they both cluster genetically and phenotypically with other European/Eurasian type, not black people.

Also the ancient Greek vases that some stupidly claim depict 'black' Greeks actually do not depict 'black' Greeks. In ancient Greek art there is a form known as "Black- and Red-Figure Vase Painting Techniques" in where figures are originally painted in a lavender slip (clay in a more liquid form) that turned 'black' after the pots were baked. In other words the figures weren't meant to depict black people, they turned 'black' during firing.
