  • its quite slow moving this film

  • Mors stars in this film tha most have in most years,, robo cop pretty woman commisar, see no evil, adams family, batteries not included etcetc i could go on they all make a fab film together

  • Could the "love interest music" get any more obvious?

  • 06:44 oh please get a room...

  • I get to this point in the film, and then I wonder what on earth happened to fill in the last 40 minutes :L

  • @MegaFreddyone that movie is weird as hell you must see it, Cronenberg's latest films are actually quite normal.

  • @MegaFreddyone I really liked him in Naked Lunch

  • 4/10 and still no monster in sight!

    I'm disappointed

  • watching this for like the hundredth time woo hoo they have some vry famous actors in here

  • Anyone know where I can get the music from 1:05-1:40? It's not on the soundtrack.

  • the Doc is Wilson from Home Improvement :)

  • Actually, he played marv in Home Alone, not Melvin.

  • @MrFreddyfan Gld you appreciate good taste in films and actors. Thumbs up!

  • Murphy ?

  • "Im gonna pop your tops. All six of them." HAHAHAAH that always made me crack up and ive seen this movie prolly 5 times now.

  • It's ironic that he's called six-pack when he's so weedy. He could certainly do with one:) I only knew of Daniel Stern from the Home Alone films, so it was good to see him in something else. Oh wait, I think he was also in City Slickers?

I'm glad I came across this film though. There are many films with the same premise but I prefer this to the Abyss which I found really dull and The Thing which was too depressing.

  • Don't drink Russian shit or you'll turn into a monster !

By the way, Sixpack is Melvin from "Home Alone"... ;-))

  • oooh, Amanda got nice legs.

  • Is that robocop and colonel from Rambo ?

  • @MrJeroek

yes thats Peter Weller, and Richard Crenna

  • Trautman must be undercover trying to find a monster that is tough enough to take on his boy Rambo. Unfortunately he did not count on Russian superiority in Genetic mutation.

  • It's Alien only underwater. It's not brilliant, it's not terrible. It's a good B-movie that does what it does, and does it well. No better, no worse.

In other news why do the corporations always have to be stupidly evil? I know we're meant to distrust them and all that, but oftentimes the decisions they make in movies would be just as bad as for the people involved. In this case the negative press or possible political backlash would be huge, what do they gain by forcing them to remain?

  • @Goldenkitten1 It's the screenwriters attempt to create suspense. It's a brilliant way to flesh out characters. Put them in vulnerable position. The evil corporations are simply backdrops in the film.

  • This is amazing quality for 360p. Thanks for the upload!

  • So they risk their job and lawsuits just to get one lousy bottle of vodka a day before going home? Wow, the company must really have gone on the cheap for the job application.

  • I think "Becky" is a absolute F#$%ing douche. Imagine being stuck in a enclosed space with a ass like him for a long period of time.

  • lol...its annoying that only the doctor seems to know the worse to come. That beck guy (Robocop) is just too oblivious of stuff! (when the doc look at him.... he just like "what's up doc?".... lulz)

  • auch mit Starbesetzung ist dieser film .....müll

  • This episode remind me strange accident with russian Kursk submarine.

  • @Andrew20a09 The submarine malfunctioning and sunking to the bottom of the sea was an accident, the russians not accepting USA help to rescue them was not an accident. That was a choice made only to preserve military secrets, kinda sad :(

  • Williams should be in more movies, getting naked obviously.

  • When does this movie get scary?

  • I can never take Robocop seriously when he's walking around in his man suit pretending to be human.

  • The Tv lady is starting to creep me out..

  • @williamperry11 i don't like that martin lady either

she's a bitch.... glad she gets punched out in the end

  • Drinking vodka while I watch this.

  • i prefer american looking women, they look more sluty then english chicks, more sexy that is...

  • Comment removed

  • this is the shittest script i've ever heard, i think big bird has a better vocabulary.

  • @smjosh1 Big Bird was originally cast, but he flaked on rehearsals cuz he was selling dope on sesame street

  • @ummagumma00 nah man Big bird got gunned down in a drive by Grover and cookie monster, they were hired by Burt and Ernie the kings of powder.

  • the movie is nice and interesting but it take for ever for the action to begin. This is the 4th part and Leviathan hasn't show no were, just two little baby spiders.

  • @936justme ok how about Alien then?

  • @936justme -Exactly what I was thinking..This film could have been so much better

  • @Apollomasque lol well said

  • peter weller sounds like he has marbles in his mouth

  • Does anyone else think that drinking from a hipflask you found at the bottom of the goddamn OCEAN is a bad idea?

  • So Sixpack put the vodka in the hipflask? and then peter wellers character thought he had the real vodka and put it someplace else?

  • In new movies you can say what happens next...

but these bring good old memories of movies.

  • Is it just me, or is the Red headed girl alote better looking than the english girl?

  • @JellyBird12 Its subjective, I may be biased, but I prefer the "English" girl (Who is played by an American actress lol). Also, isn't the redhead the woman from "Tremors"? You know, Burt's wife. Thats another cracking film from my childhood!

  • @gullivera Tremors was great! But the red-head in this film was not in Tremors. Actually, Burt's wife was played by none other than Reba McEntire.

  • @JellyBird12 Actually, correct that, she IS an English actress, I was getting the names confused.

  • @gullivera Yeah i kinda think the English girl looks better too(I think) i think it was the boobs on thered head girl that distracted me, couldnt help it.. o and thats not the girl from ytremors, but tremors was way better.

  • @JellyBird12 It is, this is the first time I've seen Leviathan since I was about 8, and I'm kind of disappointed, I loved it then, it was the year of underwater thrillers, but I think its one of those childhood memories left untarnished! I may check out Deepstar Six (Another deep sea horror from 1989), to see if its as good as I remember.

  • @gullivera The movie itself was just Okay for me, nuttin special, 6:01 was the highlight of the movie for me though.

  • @JellyBird12 BETTER left untarnished I meant, God I can't seem to string together a coherent..... Erm...........

  • zzzzzz super boring so far...

  • Except for the great Richard Crenna, this movie was a poorly made "Alien" rip-off.

  • It's like the thing I call the monster in this flim the sea-thing.

  • I would like totally lick williams asshole and it would be awesome

  • Anyway using the 480p it improves the Dolby stereo mix which I have sent to the main AVR to AUX on the JBL THX sound system. "And if I think I hear you call me Becky, one more time, six-pack. Im gonna pop your tops. All six of them".

  • Hector Elizondo (the guy), was also a "director" for the sex island --"Exit to Eden" (movie)

  • This was a pretty good set for a underwater mining operation, the set for the "Abyss" was set more like a military submarine interior, with small hallways and locking hatch doors.

  • At 2:10 it is like they had Internet Weather Forecasts before there was the Internet.

  • That vodka mutagen must be delicious. Seriously, a lesson to be learned here. Never, ever drink anything even if it's packaged like a new unused bottle. A fake can be hazardous to your health. This is how Russians tried the experiment and then sunk that ship when they realized what happened to the crew. Or, maybe it was their intention to see what that mutagen will do to the humans. When I was a kid, I was so scared that I think I skipped that night when I saw that movie for the first time.

  • i'm digging the british chick.

  • what straight guy wouldn't

  • These people did not even have the Windows Operating System. They still used DOS in 89. How did they survive can operate?

  • The computer sounds they used are very similar to the ones in "Alien".

  • yeah i'd totally lick her ass and it would probablyt taste great

  • @chiefmojorising1 in the end it is after all, an asshole your licking. but in the heat of the moment it will probably seem to taste great. i've tried it on a girl or two yrs ago. i can't see myself doing that again. not licking an asshole.

  • sgt apone!

  • and Batteries Not Included(DeJesus)

  • OMFG!!! THANK YOU!!! That was buggin' the SHIT outta me! I couldn't think of where else I saw him before! You have saved my sanity for today! Lol!

  • Peter Weller aka Robocop muhahahahha.

  • this movie looks better in sq then in hq

  • The British girl was one of Barry Allen's sidekick in The Flash tv show.

  • Daniel doesn't seem to catch a breakd does he?!? He gets beaten by a little tyke, TWICE, and now he's dying in the middle of this movie. He'll have his, *some* day.

  • Hotel manager from Pretty Woman.

  • And John Rambo's boss.

  • And a ghostbuster!

  • Robocop!

  • I KNEW I recognized him!

  • And don't forget Robocop is in it too!

  • Man, these 2 chicks are really hot!

  • Peter Weller is hot.

  • agreed . the man looks as if he'd been perfectly carved out of stone ..

  • Yep, he's in his 60s now but I still think he's sexy.

  • Man, these 2 chicken strips are really hot!

  • hard to believe this movie is already 19 yrs old.

  • right; its so awesome with modern dialogs and good quality!

  • I was 10 or 11 when it was in theaters so naturally its hard for me to beleive that its been that long..... wow that british girl was blazin....

  • You know now that you mention it, some of the sets remind me of other scifi films. I thought the british girl was going to jog right past Chewie or Ripley. (4:30)

  • "harry...I've reached the top!"

takes a step and plunges downward...

    "yaaaargh!"

Looks up and says.."wow!...what a hole!!!"

  • Is that Julia from hell raiser on the TV?

  • Hey, it does kinda look like her!!!

  • no it's meg foster , but i do see the resemblance ..

  • Leviathan and Deep Star SIX are rip offs of The Abyss. Hollywood just wanted to cash in on the idea of a horror/suspence movie under water. To be honest Leviathan is not that bad, but its not great either.

  • well, if thats true, then what started out as being a "hollywood rip off", is to this day a fan favorite.

  • its not a true "B" movie unless there are boobs in it.

  • I ain't seee no monster xD

  • I like how the Russian in the video politely waits for Richard Crenna to translate before continuing...

  • LOL!

  • The redhead woman is hot.

  • is it r rated?

  • Yes

  • This film rocked in Dolby stereo SR at UCI Tower Park back in 1989.

  • Anyone else think Peter Weller looks a bit like James Woods?

  • I do.I have for a long time.

  • He's quite...hot.
