  • most boring celebration ever......

  • why would they foul down 3 with 50s to go?!!?

  • @twelve98 In those days they had the 1 and 1 rule as opposed to the automatic 2 shots for every foul when in the bonus, so they figured that if they miss the first they can get the rebound and get more opportunities to score. In those days as well the clock didn't stop when a team scored, so even if they scored the Magic could have held the ball for 4.5 seconds before inbounding, then drew the foul. They may also have been out of TO's.

  • @MHJanson still doesnt make sense. they should still play for the defensive stop. they have a 30s shot clock.... assume the clock runs a few more they still have 10+ seconds to get a shot off to tie...

  • man i remember those days... rob rose and copeland were bad-ass back then...

  • That mad basket at roughly 1.30 is part of what's missing in modern day NBL games...skil llevel much higher & loved watching rivalries between these 2 teams back in the day even if i was a kings/violet crumbles fan... Always taped the finals when TEN showed them late at night, usually after re-runs of Let The blood run free or some aussie comedy lol....

  • @ 3:10 any basketball fan and ref can tell that is goaltending.

  • hows it like no existing anymore, magic?

  • the mebourne tigers were always heavily aided by the referees in the old NBL it was disgusting. I am a Perth Wildctas fan and I even noticed this when melbourne played teams like brisbane and adelaide. We lost a grand final to melbourne due to biased reffing. Gaze was immune. Definately some crooked shit going on in the 90s

  • @girraboyzz no u didn't u lost fair and square

oh well we got our revenge on magic in 1997. i supported them when they were the spectres, but once they became magic, it just sounded too gay and i became a devout tiger supporter

  • Amen nic those guys were the kings i went to lots of 15 thousand crowds at tennis center almost shed a tear watching this.

    Bruce Bolden king of kings

  • the dragons v tigers gf series, couldnt even fill hisense arena to capacity for game 5.. was close though. but 15,000 here is a pipedream nowadays

  • Thanks for posting.....I miss those days!!!

I often pull out this video and watch this game. Great memories of Bruce Bolden, Darren Perry, Scott Lucas, Tony Ronaldson, Andrew Parkinson, Scott Ninnis, John Dorge and Robert Rose.

  • "in 1992 you'll believe in magic"

  • this is what basketball in australia needs to be like again
