  • why do the cells pick up the black spots and seem to eat it just before they replicate? And when the cancer cells collide, does anyone know what is going on biochemically? I mean, do they just bump off each other, or do they actually transmit something?

  • What mutant are you using, are these B-Raf V600E expressing by any chance?

  • @Fullprime That's an excellent question. This video is from our archives, and unfortunately, the information we have doesn't provide that level of detail. Sorry.

  • What are the small shaking and glowing balls in the normal cells vs cancer cells section? Are they trying to kill the cancer cells? What are the tiny shaking and jumping spots? Are they viruses? This video is really impressive. Thanks!

  • @tzhang1000 The glowing and shaking that you are seeing is the movement of the cells. When they change field planes, they appear to glow on camera.

  • why are the cancer cells glowing when the divide? is that just an added video effect?

  • @CrazyManMusicVideos The glow comes from when the cells change planes in the field. It's not anything that we did to the video.

  • How come the cells light up when they go through Mitosis?

  • wow... scary, but impressive!

  • are the cancer cells dividing more rapidly then normal cells?

  • @metallica4ev Yes, cancer cells do divide more rapidly than normal cells

  • can you tell me please what is meaning of cancer and is any virus cause this how cells are divided? by mitosis or meiosis ???? i a waitting!!!!!!!!!

  • @alibaba007ish I think our Understanding Cancer series might be of assistance to you. It's available at cancer.gov/cancertopics/understandingcancer/cancer

  • i hate cancer support if you had a friends or relative that die.

  • Immune system shows here how strong it is?

  • @neba81 The purpose of this video is to provide news outlets with footage they can use to show their viewers the difference between how normal cells look under the microscope, compared to how cancer cells look.

  • @NCINews

ok, i know that (it is obvious, don't you think?), but i want to know what i'm actually looking in the part ,,Normal cells vs. cancer cells''. I notice some activity, but i'm interested in what is that?

  • @neba81 These are breast cancer cells. This segment depicts cell growth; differences in ruffling (changes in the cell membrane) and movement are emphasized. Does that help?
