@Extremetrials1 First off... You're not SUPPOSED to like being beat in an enduro competition... Secondly, I highly doubt that hit was intentional. And how can you call somebody a "fucking idiot" or "fat prick" when (A) YOU are an idiot for posting such an ignorant, dumbass comment and (B) David Knight is probably way more fit than you.

And if you don't like that the hit made Brown stumble, maybe he should have considered racing an ENDURO bike in this race instead of a paperweight trials bike.

yeah its an extreme test like some people are saying but any way you put it its far easier to man handle a trials bike through log section than it is a 250 450 or any bike like that. Trials bikes are lighter, have lower center of gravity, TONS of torque, Not to mention the tires. Trils bikes imo is cheating in any off-road race. hell even the tires are banned from the endurocross series.

the only reason that brown waz even near knighter waz that brown's riding a trial bike which is much more easy to ride in that race!!!

hense the name tough 1 extreme..if u all have opinions speak 2 steve the organisor of the event..tbh a gp bike and supermoto are nothing alike..were as enduro and trials is.

IMO! steve did amazing with the track and i cdnt find 1 fault really.

Ok bizz37 it's an extreme test. However it's my understanding that Brown would have gone on to win the race had he completed the night section. Now, had the race been full of entries of good riders on trials bikes with full lighting rigs then I would guess they would have filled the top places. So then you might say it's not really very 'extreme'. Horses for courses.

I also totally agree with welshrob1974 - it was pitch black out there and whilst Mike Brown probably would have won (no real argument) what would have happened if a spectator got injured - no more Tough One I suspect!

Same thing happens at the Vegas Enduro Cross. The Trials bike riders are the best debate gets on my tits. Geoff Aaron(multi US Trials Champ)summed it up last year when asked why he didn't use a trials bike at the Vegas Endurocross replying that "it's designed to be ridden on an enduro bike as a real test of your skill, a trials bike is like cheating, makes it too easy!"

Mike Brown's a talented guy. Put him on an enduro bike, see him perform on an even playng field! I'll pay to watch that!!

Surely the course is wrong (although entertaining). If a trials bike is the fastest way around it then it isn't really an enduro. For instance you wouldn't have a Moto GP with jumps and a dirt section because then Rossi on his 800cc, 250 hp Yam would be beaten by a guy on a supermoto.

True that a trial bike is more suited but end of the day he had no lights and thats why he was pulled out, safety big issue with all those spectators etc

I'm a enduro man through and through I have raced it for 8 years and Knight is a hero.

But to be fare the tough one is a hair scramble the regs dont say a trials bike cannot be used, and a trials bike could be used in a time card enduro fine as well. Infact trials bikes are used in the hells gate extreme event.

Massive respect to Brown he was simply awsome. He would of lapped knight had he a rode the full 2 hours.

yeh Brown could have possibly lapped Knight if he had raced the full two hours but he was on a trials bike so its nowhere near as hard as doing it on an enduro bike and, considering it is supposed to be an ENDURO race a TRIALS bike should not be allowed to compete against the enduro bikes for 2 hours, its just not fair!
