Guess her weight? Hmm it's in the low 120s. I'd say flat 120 for 5 4 but she has quite a bit of muscle so it could be as high as 125. Most likely 118 or so when she's on stage and 123-125 off season.
@undeadheart66 Ava was 125 in this video. She had trained to build muscle in preparation for a leaning out phase. By the time she was on stage at her next show she was at 118, which is very lean.

Based on the average of a variety of measurements plus what I know about this topic, I'd say mine is about 17 % now whereas hers was most likely 12-13 % or so at 118. therefore much more lean body mass on her obviously.

@LuisVlogs You would mix these two together. The reason that they are shown separately is that you don't need to mix them until right before you drink them. As mentioned in the video, you want to get protein immediately after a workout and in order to make sure your muscles take in the maximum amount of benefit from the protein, you also want carbs. As far as water, there is a shaker to mix the two together but you should usually carry water everywhere. :)

Um...how the heck do you eat more food, I have to consume 3000 calories a day to gain weight, that's a hell of alot of food, 290 g carbs, 290 g protein, that's like 12 big macs....seriously....any suggestions on boosting appetite?
Increasing your metabolic rate would make you more hungry, but it would probably cause you to lose weight. So, you want to slow down your metabolism. Eat no more than three times a day and only exercise moderately. Drink most of your calories; it'll be easier that way. Have a 500 cal shake. If you don't care about gaining fat, then if you eat something with lots of carbohydrates and then go immediately to bed, your body should convert that to fat.
i eat only 1000 calories a day on average since i started counting calories. i'm supposed to burn like 2500 a day so i'm losing like half a pound of fat a day.
@nubcakehero I would strongly advise against a diet like that. Be careful and ensure it is fat that you're burning! The minimum recommended daily caloric intake is 1200 cal for women and 1500 cal for men. Below these levels, it's unlikely that you are consuming all the nutrients your body needs. Also, with such a restrictive diet, your metabolic rate is likely to decrease, which works against you. Just ensure you're eating tons of fresh veggies and you'll be okay - raw is better for you.
I notice that as well as missing body fat she's also missing a ring. I'd kill for a wife like her one day, but I think I'll just train instead. Very informative videos and entertaining to watch too. Nice work.
My question is, you say you only eat 1800 calories pr. day - isn't that to big of a calorie defecit ?Your BMR is probably raised from 1350 to 2200 calories from all the training + the calories you burn doing workout ? Most people work out very early in the morning or very late at night, so a normal person (working from 9 to 6 somewhere away from home) will find it harder to control his/hers meals, count calories and associate his food intake to his carb consumption.
dear AVA, do you have any Weight loss tips for those with PCOS? the docs say its nearly impossible for us to lose weight without being a pill popper (meds) but ive lost 80lbs so far (without meds) , its becoming harder to drop the weight.
@khalilahinjapan There is nothing wrong with only eating 3 meals a day but it's not optimal for health, strength and overall fitness. Ava's commentary is aimed at someone who is working out with a goal of getting in shape. If you don't work out much, chances are you're not looking to gain muscle and lose fat, in which case, you can eat as many meals a day as you like. But for better for fitness, heart health, and overall longevity, it's better to eat every 2 to 3 hours (5 or 6 meals).
@khalilahinjapan try expanding to 4 meals....and then 5. Most of us can do 5. 6 gets tough. When I say 4, I'm talking a 300 calorie snack or something. I carry cans of soup, beans, tuna fish and peanuts in my truck....also a bag of protein powder. Just carry a can opener with you and a spoon/ fork and you're good to go. You can also stock up your office locker with this stuff too. It takes 5 minues to eat a meal like that.
I hope that the apartment in these videos is just a set, because the spartan surroundings make Ava look like a calorie counting, exercising, cooking and eating machine. I don't know how tall Ava is, but if she is 5"3 then she's 126 pounds. I say that because I had a very skinny girlfriend who was 5'3" and weighed 100 pounds, then I added those curves and figured muscle would be denser than fat.

I hope that the apartment in these videos is just a set, because the spartan surroundings make Ava look like a calorie counting, exercising, cooking and eating machine. I don't know how tall Ava is, but if she is 5"3 then she's 126 pounds. I say that because I had a very skinny girlfriend who was 5'3" and weighed 100 pounds, then I added those curves and figured muscle would be denser than fat.
