  • Nice to see the old Bell and Howell 'Filmosound'. I used to work in a projection area that included two B&H 609's with carbon arcs, but basically the same 'guts' as this one. A new set of carbons would just about run for about an hour if you were lucky! These were replaced by two Zeiss Favorit 16B's with 6000' spool capacity like the machine seen here.
