Take away the vocals, close your eyes and listen to the music and the atmosphere. The feeling is like that of black metal's. Sure, not bone-snapping, church-burning, Satanic bm, but that coldness, isolation and otherworldly darkness is all there. The vocals just make the music more ghost-like and sentimental.
