My wife's family goes back to Ebenezer Brown of the Mormon Battalion and the Sutter’s Mill gold discovery. Undaunted courage indeed. I have two more songs you may like. You've captured a rawness and realness that's difficult to be captured. I love the production quality of the guitars and the vocals. You've really done an amazing job with this one. (Side note: one of my favorite fantasies is climbing up Everst! If there's ever an exposition of YouTubers who decide to make the treck, let me know! I'd definitely make it for this one.)
@BloodTrucksandBeer Your Everst quest is one I will miss. I'm so old, just moving my fingers up and down the guitar nearly puts me in my death bed. Try as I might, I have never been able to write another song like this again.
@bamsdram Thank You - Now that you said that, I am reminded of two groups of survivors. The Donner Party of 1846 were American Pioneers became snowbound on their way to California via wagon train when an early deep record snow fall trapped in the Sierra Nevada’s. Also Andes Survivors of 1972 who were in an airplane crash high in the Andes. Both groups of survivors must have gone mad and ended up practicing cannibalism just trying to stay alive....
