  • spectacular performance...love Mahler..

  • Wrong note in the score - not just a chip @:8'06" Mellos. Nice moments. Some parts of the drill don't work IMHO. French Horns in the Scherzo/5th were a nice and ORIGINAL touch. Finally - something NEW.

  • Best Beginning, and 2nd Best Ending after Convergence

  • 1:46 still gives me chills!

  • should hav ewon my ass, Poteet kicked yalls ass. get over it and move on

  • Ill always miss playing with drew mitchell

  • Now I like this a little more than Poteet. Their shows are just kind of boring to me. This one is actually exciting. I like it!

  • i was a sophomore this year, i was in the front ensemble

  • i wish they played the trumpet intro to Mahler 5 1st movement

  • Well duh we didnt do this show im talking about the music. Ours was called Gustav Mahler Then and Now. Different drill and music but the show was about Mahler.

  • wow cool show I loved it. I did this is show back in 2002 with the Berkner High School Ram Band. We got 3rd in state and it was an awesome show. I love the music selection but i have to say Berkner was crunker!!

  • Actually, you didn't do this show back in 2002. The music and drill for this show was custom written for Friendswood High School.

  • @hotguy200958 That show still can be heard on MarkHigginbotham. com website under the music section.

  • Watched this w/ the applied music kids today during lunch. I really enjoyed it.

My stepsister goes to this school. I wonder if she knows how good the band is.

  • Best intro to a marching show. Ever.

  • so crass!

  • Maybe so, but Mahler, the great ironist, would have loved it.

  • i wish i was on the snare line this year!

  • This brings back some good memories from high school. I'm the dance/flag soloist in the beginning of the show ;)

  • This is a Mahler's festival of Marches & School in a Foot Ball Field. This is a beautiful expression of Human Spirit in a forest ecstasy of sounds.

Greetings by a philosopher's point of view!

  • good job guys, friendswood kicked ass tht year too bad we made fourth this year. the best drum majors had to be travis urban, matthew cox, and possibly rajesh. it would've been cool if they all got to conduct this

  • We were better than Poteet.

  • amen to that!

  • Our show should have done better

  • this show kicked major ass! Those trumpets in the last movement. damn. Bow Chicka Bow Wow

  • omg, daniel frank you are such a noob!

i still use your email as my spam lol

  • didn't win. second place. guh.

  • Mahler Symphony 1 1st movement, Symphony 5 5th movement, Symphony 2 1st movement, Symphony 5 3rd movement, Symphony 2 4th movement, (symphony 1 first movement), symphony 7 5th movement. Mahler definitely would have been in tears watching this.

  • @lewiskrauthamer tears of horror...

  • yeah! I can see my self in the little picture like 6 times. Man I LOVE this show, I still get chills when we turn around in the first movement for the big hit.
