  • I am so glad DADT is now repealed. Its a stupid ban in the first place. There is no proof that allowing gays to serve openly will damage the military. Thats a bunch of bullshit from the religious right. Israel allows gays to serve openly in their military and you don't want to mess with them and other nations that do allow gays to serve openly reported that it does not effect their defence force at all. So enough with the homophobia people. All you bigots have no proof to support your bullshit.

  • The Good, The Bad, and the UGLY on the repeal of DADT:

Good: The military will make effeminate gay men more masculine, which is a good thing. Hate crimes would plummet if gay men acted more Rock Hudson then Perez Hilton.

Bad: ironic that it was repealed by a bunch of libs who hate the military and wouldn't serve in a million years no matter if we had ten 9/11 attacks.

Ugly: people wanting to serve in the military but on their terms, not the military's. Whats next? doctors notes?

  • Done and done!

  • Excellent video! Thumbs up! I certainly voted this one up. Keep making these videos, and I will keep watching them.

  • On Friday, 22 July 2011 President Barack Obama, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Admiral Mike Mullen, the joint chiefs of staff chairman, signed the "Don't Ask; Don't Tell" repeal. The certification has been sent to congress, and in sixty days, DADT will be officially ended. Now, patriotic gay American men and women will be able to serve our country honourably and openly.

  • For a good look at how out gay soldiers serving will affect the military, there are several videos of a publicly gay British solder on YouTube who is serving his country with honour and distinction.

Check out "Lance Corporal James Wharton," "James Wharton" and "James Wharton at Devizes School." He is a good example of the type of soldier that we, too, will have serving openly in our forces with the repeal of DADT.

  • ==' fuckin gay

  • when we're attacked, instead of defending the usa, they should say

    "I am gay"

    lol

  • wether or not they're gay, doesnt matter right ?

I mean , what matters is that they admit to being gay, so why dont they challenge this bull shit law, by saying "I am gay" ?

    lol

  • why doesnt the troops actually have a

"I am gay" demonstration, against dadt ?

just curious why they didnt do that

  • why were you shocked? you knew you were admitting you were gay, and it wasn't gonna be allowed, dumbass!

  • @fagtube3

but thats not enough, the bible is clear on what a good christian should do with homosexuals, adulterers and those who curse their parents (commandment 5).

    Leviticus 20:13 Kill Homosexuals

    Leviticus 20:10 Death for Adultery

Leviticus 20:9 Death for Cursing Parents

  • @fagtube3

well its a good thing america is not a theocracy. if you want to live in a place where gods law rules over the people, (such as kill homosexuals, leviticus 20:13), move to uganda.

  • In the ancient Greek World the most soldiers were gay...

    Just saying...

    Why not in the USA?

Because, Heterosexuals will feel uncomfortable? Will feel distracted?

Ehm... Their problem being homofobic... >.>

  • @JiggyThankful Historically speaking your comment, homosexual acts were a normal part of culture but I highly doubt that most were in fact gay.

  • @duneranger Ok Ok...

of course I'm not sure about that either...

BUT 'even' now the most people are bisexual, only a little percentage is pure hetero/gay/doesn't has sexual feelings...

So, what's going on now is: people STILL are afraid to be honest... because it's still a kind of taboo, what's nonscence...

  • the military should not have the luxury of discrimination. the number of recruits is already low. and to kick people out or deny them the privilege to serve their country, only weakens the military.

denying gays the right to serve is no more right than denying blacks or women to serve.

  • I'm straight yet very interested in the historical significance of this repeal. This is not only a victory for egalitarian principles and basic human rights, but it may also signify the beginning of the end of Christian stupidity, intolerance and ignorance. There may be hope for us yet. The fact that this happened in the biggest fundamentalist Christian nation on Earth is unprecedented. There may be hope for us yet!!

  • YOu're all faggots. Why all this hate for gay guys huh? It's fucking sexist. I bet you ALL - no exceptions - get off to lesbian porn. Next!

  • Homosexuals just need to stay the hell out of man's business. We can't have homosexuals on the battlefield raping young recruits at will.

  • @MrHurricaneIKE Whatever bro. You probably wanna get blown by a nice well hung gay guy huh. Huh, amirite? Huh, don't be shy, admit it nigga.

I would too, just for lols. Gay pride worldwide nigga!

  • @MrHurricaneIKE interesting that on 9-11 one of the MEN who stopped the hijacked plane from crashing into the capitol building in washington was GAY - or that the MAN who saved a president's life (Gerald Ford) in an attempted assassination was GAY! or that thousands of gay MEN have served in all previous wars to protect the rights and freedoms of haters like you. so tell me cupcake upon which battlefield did you ever serve? not one i imagine.

  • @thegayprovocateur Beruit you filthy animal.

  • @MrHurricaneIKE LOL - i would have believed you if you spelled the name of the country correctly - FAIL.

  • @MrHurricaneIKE Well I guess there will be no snipers to shoot down your enemy. Its really sad honey because I can control a gun just as much as you can control your little joystick lol.

  • The bible was written by a bunch of old men to control the masses. These men had the word to control women and men.

  • @fagfail

I have, which is why I know it's bullshit.

  • @fagtube3

    "HEAVEN ISN'T REAL"

    Fixed.

  • @mecher3k yeah sure- is HELL!?

  • @wewarnedyoufags

    English, learn it.

  • Bravo Dan, you are a hero. These religious nutjobs who say gays are sick should look in the mirror-they are the sick ones. They are the sick ones.

  • @borebox sex perverts are sick. by definition

  • dont ask dont tell should be the last fucking thing on congresses mind!

  • free america....

  • Don't repeal!

  • @NaturalQuest Why? Should we segregate blacks again to boost troop morale??

  • Seriously, fuck D.A.D.T. and fuck anyone who has a problem with homosexuals serving in the Military. Homosexual soldiers are some of the toughest damn warriors in the world. They have people campaining about how "immoral" they are and how much the hate them, and these soldiers still want to protect them, in my opinion thats a real hero. Any homosexual soldiers that read this and for all homosexual soldiers, I praying for you guys to get home safely.

  • @frechieguy True, some of the spartan soliers hade young male lovers. many of the Great Empire building nations have hase remanabce of homosexuals, The romans often practiced it, the spartans and the grees, god knows who else.

  • @frechieguy The reason for DADT is that gays were getting..."jumped" by other soldiers who were homophobic.

  • Defense of Marriage Act is the short title of a federal law of the United States signed into law by President Bill Clinton on September 21, 1996, which is a federal law defining a marriage between a man and a women.

    .

In February, President Obama announced that he would not enforce this Act. He has taken another power grab for the Executive Branch by not following our Constitution, but choosing which laws to follow and which not to.

    .

Just imagine if he did that for Obamacare.

    .

    Allen West 2012

  • AS long as gay men sleep in different barraks.

  • @kfag101 why? gay men don't want straight men. straight men can get the fuck over their pathetic insecurities.

  • Well you certainly put the rule to the test - it's a rule that sucks and a situation which should have been corrected long ago. (But, as Jay Leno would say, what did you think was going to happen?!)

After all you went through to get there (West-point, etc), what a waste - I feel for you brother.

DADT is a socially, morally, and humanly unacceptable condition to create.

  • America = Retards! Equal = opressed. And what were you saying about muslims?

  • @BackToBasicsBitch Sad to see that you are so full of bigotry. Apparently being a "retard" is not limited by national boundaries.

  • He says, "My unit suffered" "That's a big [insult to my] unit." Funny.

  • Fagtastic!

  • @FlyCurly Yeah, I definitely agree. "The same argument could be made that heterosexuals should not be able to work with the opposite gender." That was AMAZING put! I will use that argument if I ever get into a conversation about dadt. Thanks a ton for your views:)

  • @FlyCurly Oh! I see. I completely understand:)

  • Im almost crying watching this... What is this inhuman intolerance by A NATION???? Holy god i dont live in this disgusting Country That is united states of America

  • @FlyCurly "Every time I look at one my face gets red with anger." Angry at what, man? Angry at homosexuals? For what?

  • what??, they cant do that, so much for freedom eh?

  • @FlyCurly Yes II think theres a lot of christian fundimentalists at play behind the scenes and your man Obama is struggling - in trying to please all you end up pleasing no one - This is a clear cut issue suspending the DADT law why they get to revise the code of conduct would show real leadership and courage.

  • @FlyCurly It just seems an awful waste of tallent & future potential not to mention insult & ruiened lives for the victims caught up in this indecissive phase - On one hand your forces are the most modern in the world technicaly and yet they institutionalise outdated descrimitary fundimental rights which undermine the moral authority. From accross the pond it seems DADT encourages dishonesty that fuels fears, anxiety & doubt.. I'm suprised Mr Obam has'nt suspends enforcement. Good Luck.

  • OMG in the UK army we would have promoted you for being so honest. Its a non issue amoung the rank & file - It's an insult to the st8 soldiers too implying they cant handle it - crazy

  • You know what, I am a 100% straight female, but why in the world is the military jobs able to discriminate against gay people. IF YOU APPLIED AT WALMART AND THEY SAID SORRY NOPE YOU ARE A LESBIAN, you would have a HELLUVA law suit on your hands. *Shakes head* DADT makes no sense.

  • @DownAzzGirlE The military still discriminates against women also...How come the country and military does not focus on giving women the rights that they deserve??? I think that is a more important issue, and has been an issue much longer than gay rights.

  • Mayflower compact 1626

If D.A.D.T is accepted a form of judgment God will allow to fall upon the U.S. within 24-48 hours.

  • @quarterexchange So much for sending me a PM, don't worry, I've got... check ur inbox in a few.

  • @quarterexchange Just b/c it happened in Israel in 1948 doesn't mean it happens today. Do u have any recent statistics? Don't u think training can address these problems as well? Because ur argument pertains to straight couples, what percentage of men do u think will form relationships w/ other men if gays are allowed to serve openly? A minority or a majority? I'm just not convinced that losses will occur at all to the extent ur talking.

  • contd... Men form strong friendships in their units (and out) all the time, they are still trained to act professionally when their friends are lost in combat. Why don't u think they can't do the same w/ their lovers? Is the only reason u compare ISrael to the US b/c of numbers who go to war or b/c we have the same training procedures & policies? Sorry, but none of this is convincing.

  • contd... Send me a PM w/ links to any credible surveys, statistics, studies on the topic that "allowing women/gay men in the military will cause the military to suffer ___ more losses..." something like that. The comments are getting kinda long, so just send me a PM

  • contd.. P.s. if romantic relationships caused such chaos in the Israeli military, why are women still not banned? Or do u think they addressed the problem differently w/o banning anyone?

  • @HBanana55 But women are banned from combat operations like the ones that took place in Lebonan,Gaza and the West Bank. Aren't they?

  • @JimmyFormerMarine Me & quaterexchange settled this thru PM, I'm not arguing over women in combat, just DADT policy placed in every aspect of the military. My position is, if quarterexchange is correct, then we still don't need DADT in non-combative aspects of the military b/c the relationship argument is a non-issue, so we've come to an agreement on that. I began arguing a little off topic before.

  • @HBanana55 DADT was a political ploy of the Clinton administration. Clinton wanted the gay vote. I guess he got it.

  • @JimmyFormerMarine alrighty then

  • Ok, I can accept that DADT being repealed will not go over easy w/ some ppl, but if it doesn't completely destroy the military, I see no reason for not repealing it. for the rest of ur comment, since the UK has repealed its version of DADT, can u link me to any information on the disasters they've had b/c of it? (this is in terms of ur romantic relations ships argument). Are you in the military btw? My main argument is on overall functionality, which u even said will most likely be unchanged.

  • @quarterexchange Just b/c a few militaries of certain countries don't allow women to fight in combat b/c of negative effects doesn't mean that gays will completely destroy unit cohesion in the US army. There are other countries (like Canada/Sweden) who allow women to serve & not lose functionality.

  • Contd...

(by protecting, I meant protecting gays from being discharged.) On the battlefield, it doesn't matter if the person next to u is gay/woman or not. thinking that soldiers will not act professionally knowing there are gays/women is an insult to them. Do u think they can't be trained to act professionally? Would u rather there be a draft in place rather than let gays & women give their time to serve their country?

  • @quarterexchange If two men started going at it in the shower, they would get the shit beat out of them. The other men would not allow that. And I hope gay men have the class and common sense to know not to have sex in front of straight men.

  • @quarterexchange Guess what? Romantic bonds form in the US military ALL THE TIME & it doesn't affect cohesion to such an extent that ur implying. In the US, men & women serve w/o causing the military to lose functionality. So I ask you to show me CONCRETE evidence that the US military will lose all functionality if we allow gays to stop hiding their sexuality. DADT is actually hurting our military/naitonal security

  • contd... there is a shortage of linguists, a much needed resource, & yet the military is firing soldiers b/c they are gay. Why should sexual orientation be placed above national security when 1.) gay ppl already come out & there are plenty of soldiers/officers protecting them 2.) there is no concrete evidence to suggest the US military will go under if they repeal DADT?? If the british can do it, why can't we at least TRY it?

  • PS**meant to delete that last sentence, obviously we wouldn't be able to "just try it" & then put it in place again for obvious reasons. Please ignore that sentence, it makes no sense.

  • news flash they are in and serving, we just dont want to ask them about their sex lives and dont want to know, and if this is repealed then the straight soldiers have the right to beat the piss out of they gay soldiers that hit on them. Also we are all soldiers then males should also get to shower with females, after all a gay man is a female in a males body

  • I have so much, SO MUCH respect for you.

  • The reason why they don't want gays in the military is so they don't buttfuck in the showers.

But that's not going to happen. Gay men and lesbians are not sex crazed perverts, they are people like us and deserve to be treated like so.

  • DADT isn't fair? Last time I checked, make that, oh, today, life isn't fair and the military is less so. Military service isn't a right, it's a privilege. DADT basically says that homosexual can serve unless and until they become a problem. The homosexuals that treat sex like 99% of people do wont have a problem, because for them, it's a choice, not a banner.

  • There is no evidence that suggests gays diminish the functionality of the military. The British had a similar policy & repealed it. Guess what happened to their military... they function EXACTLY the SAME. Gays already come out to close friends in their units & these friends usually protect them. So why protect the bigots if there is an overwhelming number of soldiers PROTECTING gays from these policies? What makes the bigots so goddamn special that they can have a policy based on 0 evidence?

  • I met him at a conference. He was brilliant, and this just makes me sick how people can try to oppress!

    GO DAVID CHOI!

  • @quarterexchange My final thought, you just said: "simple laws and rules would not prevent it." Is DADT not just a policy enforced by federal law? The answer is, yes. I believe there are less drastic and more agreeable possibilities that would appease all parties on this issue. & No sir. I said exactly what I meant, and you've proven nothing to me but your opposition. I'm ending this "discussion," as I realize we will not agree on this matter. That aside, have a pleasant day.

  • @quarterexchange You're just ridiculous, and clearly there is no revealing to you that you're unable to see the reality beyond your bias. That's okay though, our current House Of Representatives, millions of other Americans, our Presidential administration, and our soldiers abroad can. I'm done debating with a nonsensical brick wall.

  • @quarterexchange Also, homosexuals are no more or less decent people than heterosexuals, so how does banning such foster decency? And a simple ban on interdepartmental relationships could be just as effective in preventing romantic relationships without the waste of money or unnecessary loss of an able soldier. You're being irrational.

  • @quarterexchange I hate to break it to you, but when valuable service members that are performing crucial jobs to the success of our military's important missions are being discharged, and have to be replaced solely because people become aware of their sexuality (not to mention wasting money to train replacements), it does limit its efficacy.

  • @quarterexchange As for accommodations to be made for homosexuals, I think it would be much simpler to have them sign a contract stating that they will agree not to involve in sexual activities with their comrades, else they are to be discharged. Problem solved. Those willing to serve this country would honor that so long as they are treated equally, I assure you. & If not, a swift consequence of discharge. It's quite simple. Your discriminatory beliefs however are blatantly impractical.

  • @quarterexchange No matter how you would like to phrase or portray it, what you're promoting is an unjust form of discrimination that limits the potential of our military and its abilities to protect our rights, freedoms, and liberties, without which our country is nothing. Second, our government controls our military the last time I checked and should be in accordance with its standards.

  • @quarterexchange Furthermore, this policy only affects the United States military the last time I checked. Our military's policies shouldn't necessarily be in accordance to our communist/socialist "allies." Of course they would be in favor of something that limits our nation's military, and would turn away able-bodied soldiers that defend our freedom, a one-of-kind-only-found-in-the-United-States freedom might I add. It's not like this is some sort of deep-rooted policy, it was passed in 93' !

  • @quarterexchange Well, if that is the case, to prevent relationships, then shouldn't all heterosexual relationships within the military be taboo? I mean, by your logic, women today wouldn't be allowed to serve in the military as they require separate lodgings, and bathing areas. Oh, but doesn't our military allow women to serve? Now why is that you might ask? That's because they provide more of a service to our nation than any potential cost of additional housing could ever amount to become.

  • @quarterexchange

Lets see what other videos you have been trolling on..

  • @quarterexchange

You really do hate gays... Come out of the closet already, you keep trolling gay videos.

  • @quarterexchange Actually, I couldn't care less. I think it more depends on the reason the military separates the sexes. I don't know why the military separates the sexes other than the potential of a woman serving their country being rendered unable to serve due to pregnancy. For obvious reasons, such potential liability wouldn't exists between two homosexual persons. However, I don't care how the military separates by sex, or sexual orientation, so long as every able individual can serve.

  • song title?

  • So a man who is willing to fight for his country and is gay can be fired from the armed forces.....................................I loath American bigots !

I am british and we don't have that problem in the army! You are accepted as gay !

  • What? Am I supposed to be sympathetic? Speaking as a retired GI.

FUCK EM. I Damned sure did'nt want that type of Scum around me.

Why should Men AND Women whose Primary focus is the Military

Interest of this Nation, be forced to accomadate SHIT like this? Not to

mention the Taxpayers having to cover for the Future Medical Costs

of these Disease ridden Vermon. FUCK EM ALL.

  • no one is born gay ,that is an excuse, an a lame one at that

  • @quarterexchange I agree, hell if you have to shower with people that are attracted to the same sex why cant you shower with the opposite sex too. Everyone should get some eye candy.

  • Let soldiers decide who they want living, showering and fighting with, it shouldnt be for people who are unwilling to fight for their country to decide. And if dadt is repealed then they should also have unisex bathrooms, shared male/female bathrooms and sleeping quaters. If a gay male can shower and sleep with the sex of his choice then so should a straight male

  • we'll, it looks like gays dont care about the USMJ

  • @supercrazydave, yes and Rosa Parks was a lawbreaker and didn't have any respect for authority back in 1955. Most gays and lesbians do respect the UCMJ just not that one part that discriminates.

  • Don't ask Don't tell should continue because if it ends, a troop will say he is gay and will cause discrimination, which will be bad for the person who is gay and bad for the other troops that will "keep a distance" from the gay person, It's not about job or anything, its about discrimination.

  • @scoutbr00 as much as I am against "dont ask dont tell" you have a good point.

  • @scoutbr00 That may be true, but at least then it wouldn't be our own government discriminating against us. Not to mention, homosexuals entering the military already face such adversity in civilian society, and I'm guessing would be willing to continue facing that adversity within the ranks for the opportunity to give back to a country that would fight for their rights.

  • Personally, I'm a gay teenager, and can handle walking my school hallways hearing derogatory words or phrases directed at me due to other peoples' ignorance, but when our own government acknowledges and accepts it, that is when I am truly bothered.

  • This is so messed up. It's infurriating that so many men and women are discharged for who they are. The government/ Military should not force them to hide their true identities and force them to say "I am not gay".

    Repeal DADT!

  • Seeing this makes me ANGRY! DADT is unfair. Soldiers should be more concerned about getting a bullet in their @ss then worrying about someone's sexuality. As long as an individual is willing to serve for their country, why should this even matter?

  • ok, don't ask don't tell, is better than nothing... what i cant suffer is why we are still there!

  • If you think "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" happens in any millitary unit, try an average Latino Family home. The DADT policy applies there as well for religious reason, but mainly and mostly about machismo with also the risk of being kicked out of the house just for being gay.

  • good comparison. Sad to say thats its true for both.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm taking this conversation directly to you in otherwords Bearrick.

  • Bearrick you are also using a modern interpretation some Bible passages to justify your homophobia. You've heard it from the preachers most of your life so u dont' question it. Also you've read it in some modern translations of the Bible as homophobic theologians have taken the words of Paul and incorrectly translated the words "arsenokoitai" & "malakoi" as homosexuality & homosexual. Those versions of the Bible have corrupted the original & replaced them with something that never was there.

  • Wow, this policy is so blatantly senseless. How can America still be using it?

    It's from Clinton, right?

    How disappointing.

  • Telling us that you don't agree with our "lifestyle" is tantamount to me telling a black person I don't believe in his "black lifestyle." You need to grow up and get an education because you're really revealing how stupid you are by the stupid comments you are posting here. They aren't even arguments. They are simple minded and childish attacks.

  • if u dont agree with the black lifestyle thats fine, i didnt know blacks had a life style. I mean its what we are, we dont do black. the gay lifestyle is a guys lifestyle that just likes to sleep with men, its a different man lifestyle.

its funny how you are trying to throw around the word stupid, i honestly don't like the word its an ugly word. yet when i disagree your ready to call me it, that shows how childish you are and how low America has sunk because of both sides.

  • Bearrick, until you can walk in our shoes you really don't have a credible leg to stand on. Put this in your YouTube browser, "Rachel Maddow 2009-05-19 Don't Ask Don't Tell" There are too many Victor Fahrenbach's who are outstanding, crucial and priceless for our military. To oust men like him is like shooting yourself in the foot. It's a dumbassed and ludicrous thing to do. Our military is unstable without the truth & President Obama & the congress are going to repeal this senseless law.

  • dude, shut up i'm black, cuban, and native american i've been through worse shit then you have. dont give me this whole "gays have it bad" i was called the N word since i was a child of 5, i've been kicked out of classes because of my skin color, and i was threaten with expulsion, i got sexual harrasment charges for looking at a white girl. dont give me this shit "walk through our shoes" your shoes arent nothing. all you gays do is bitch about small things.

  • Oh please Bearrick, stop bitching about small things.

  • oh yes i'm bitching about smal lthings when your al lwhining about not being able to keep a secret.

  • No, no, no, you've got it all wrong! I'm campaigning for the right for gay people to aggressively ram homosexuality down your throat! This is no small feat!

  • i already know this. thats all gays want to do apparently

  • Bearrick then you of all guys definitely should understand what it's like. You're not the lone ranger when it comes to being abused. BTW I'm also part native American - Osage and Cherokee. "dont give me this shit "walk through our shoes" your shoes arent nothing. all you gays do is bitch about small things." That's funny, that's exactly what the white anti-black leaders said to black folks in the day and some still do. "all you negroes do is bitch about small things."

  • slavery wasnt a small thing! niether was not allowing us to vote, go to school, allowing us to be lynched, the list goes on, and what gays have to worry about DADT and marriage. blacks couldnt get married or couldnt serve before, and when we did serve we couldnt even wear the same uniforms. so dont tell me to walk in your shoes, it would be too comfortable to walk in your shoes.

  • Well then black people should have just bleached their skin and pretended to be white - it's all their fault really!

  • Theres a difference between what you are and what you do. blacks cant change what they are, nor could we hide it, its kinda hard to hide skin color.

  • ...and there you have it, what it always boils down to. You believe homosexuality is a choice - not only that, you think of it as a sexual act. Any sane gay person or psychologist will tell you, however, that it has all the same characteristics of heterosexuality, just with one person being of a different gender. I'm not sure I can describe to you how messed up it is to try and change or manipulate perfectly healthy feelings of love and attraction...or to try and conceal your emotions.

  • Homosexuality is not a choice, its a preference brought on by a string of environmental upbringing, it is a sexual act, this is why the why they call it your SEXUAL orientation.

And yes it is bad to change someone sexual orientation is can caught psychological damage but it is very possible. And you can easily conceal your emotions, though its not good to do so for long periods of time but it can be possible.

  • And by the way, hiding your sexuality is also "kinda hard". The closet isn't exactly a good place to be, at all. Nowadays, it's often much tougher to do that than to be openly gay and openly discriminated against.

  • not really, hiding ur sexuality can be simple, people just tell you its hard, it can be bad and aching, but it can be easy if u know how to suppress it

  • You sound like a pro.

  • i'll give yall a little insight.

I started hating gays and wishing they would all die because i was assaulted by one who came on to me, i was also an Atheist during this. then i started to study science and god and my best friend for years came out to me, i stopped hating gays and then went through a whole "i think i'm gay phase" i decided i wasnt and realized many go through this, some may choose to accept it others may not. Now i'm a Christian who tries not to hate any group.

  • Sad that you were assaulted by a gay man. It happens in prisons and in other similar situations yet the vast majority in these cases are heterosexual men. There are some men who question their orientation. Not all that uncommon. There are far more who are gay from birth onward. In other words (just like heterosexual orientation) an orientation toward the same sex is more often than not, a lifelong and solid orientation.

  • to me noone is born gay, u are born with tendencies that can make u gay, hormones, estrogen, testosterone.

  • Wow that was refreshingly honest - I have a lot to say in response to this but I'm on my phone right now and it's a bit of nuisance so I'll wait until I get to a computer to respond.

  • @Bearrick wow :) your a true christian you know. i am one to and im gay, i have a boyfriend and we r almost 10 months together, and i think the basics of christianity is just NOT hating. everything thats wrong starts by hate, and by repealing hate you repeal everything thats wrong.

    god bless you m8 :)

  • i also notice the pros and cons about each and refuse to stay on one side of arguments, This is one reason i'm a Christian who believes in Creationism, big bang, and Micro evolution.

  • I've already heard that quote straight from the mouth of blatantly homophobic Bill O'Reilly.

Even if there are environmental factors, that doesn't mean that gay people choose to be gay.

Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with being gay. The assumption that gay = bad has sprung up from a human fear of the different, a fear easy to trace in religion in general for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Just because it's different from normal doesn't make it wrong. Please don't discriminate.

  • yea i did get that from bill O'Reilly its probably the only smart thing he said but too bad he doesn't understand it himself.

Gays dont choose to be gay, but they can choose to stay gay.

Dont try to use religion as a scapegoat, i get tired when people try to use scapegoats, this isnt religions fault, religion teaches love and kindness, this is people who just don't like what they see.

Gay is a sin in the bible thats it, but dont hate the sinner. i'm not discriminating if i dont accept it.

  • Bearrick where do you get your "Gays dont choose to be gay, but they can choose to stay gay." Bearrick you need to think very seriously about how you would respond if society and religion taught you that your heterosexuality was a sin and that you didn't choose to be straight but you can choose to stay that way or to change. Just try to put yourself into that kind of mindset and just maybe you might begin to see a glimmer of reality and understanding.

  • Jesus Christ, if ur telling me you have no control over yourself and that you for no reason at all cannot change then your weak. both mentally and physically. I have complete control over my life, if i wanna change something badly enough I'll change it. don't get stuck on the mindset that nothing can change you and that somehow your stuck the way you are. Society tells me the life I'm living is wrong as it is, so does religion. i'm in the same boat as you just my problems can put me behind bars

  • people need to learn to stop being big babies, and take control over your lives and stop trying to use objects or books or faith as a scapegoat. i always hear gays talking about "put yourself in my position" stop being babies i've been in your position hundreds of time. so stop being a baby about it, get it over with, tell everyone to fuck off take criticism and keep moving forward.

  • Bearrick - "put yourself in my position" stop being babies i've been in your position hundreds of time."

Bearrick if there's one thing I can't stand, it's a damned liar. You have lied on several of your posts. You don't have a damned clue what it means to be gay nor do you understand homosexuality so stop pretending that you do. As for being a baby. I'd look in the mirror.

  • you know your a fucking moron, in not one of my post have i said a lie. Homosexuality is a science, in no way does it describe what or who you are, it describes what you do. its like saying i dont understand a murderer or a thief. fucking gays always think they got it worse, get shot at for no reason then talk to me, get called a nigger everyday then tell me you got it worse. get jumped by 3 rednecks and get your ass kicked. get pulled over by a cop just cause ur black. so shut up baby

  • Bearrick you're proving once again what an idiot you are. Everytime you post you reveal more and more of your stupidity. "Homosexuality is a science, in no way does it describe what or who you are" I rest my case before the jury.

  • your an idiot once again. jesus christ i never met anyone as dumb as you. Since when does being gay determine who and what you are? being gay determines what you do, just like being a heterosexual doesnt determine what i am. Its a fucking sexual orientation, if somehow you let a sexual orientation fuck you up then your an idiot. jesus christ shut up.

  • Bearrick telling me to "shut up dumbass" is about as mindless and stupid as something a Jr. High school kid would say but we all knew you were dealing with latent adolescent issues. So what are you Bearrick? Just explain to the jury here what you are then. What makes Bearrick who he is.

  • long day of work, very pissed, very tired.

Anyway Bearrick is just bearrick I'm black male thats what i am. But who i am i am a game designer an artist, an optimistic, the black sheep of my family just a man that trying to make it and follow my dreams.

  • Cool. You are an artist but that is also something you do. It is innate in you to be creative but you have to create as well. It's not just something you are. It has to be expressed as I would imagine you do express your art well.

  • i swear your just a big ass baby, stop trying to blame others for you being gay, stop saying you cant change, and stop thinking and saying you have it worse. Gays are the less suffering people ever, Native Americans were wiped out and only live on in diluted blood of regular American, Africans were taken from their land, beat , raped, and separated no marriages for them too, and no military we couldnt even join, Cubans are made to suffer under a dictator and were slaves we gotta swim to freedom.

  • "i swear your just a big ass baby, stop trying to blame others for you being gay," Would you show the jury here how I or anyone else is blaming other people for being gay Bearrick? Show us oh great wise one.

  • "god made us gay" "its in our DNA" "i cant hide that i'm gay in front of those that hate gays" would you like to shut your mouth or do i have to make you look more stupid? not in any of your posts have you offered any logic other than "your an idiot" i think this what they call losing buddy, give up and walk away cause ur in no way gonna prove me wrong.

  • Bearrick part of who I am is that I'm a cowboy, I was raised in a very tough environment and a very tough family so I'm going to do what I was taught to do and what I have had to do on certain rare occasions. I'm taking this conversation outside.

  • Gays have been oppressed and murdered throughout history simply for the fact that they were gay. We're talking thousands of years. Do you know how many generations of people that is? In some places, they still kill you for being gay, and it is illegal, like the Middle East. Millions of homosexuals are in heterosexual marriages, lying to everyone, because of what society tells them. People often go through ex-gay therapy and statistics show that it is not very effective. The hate needs to stop.
