so far this summer I've seen a good chunk of "the musical that shall not be named" b4 they had to take it down. Got a friend hooked on Firefly. Started watching Buffy for the first time. Somehow became skype friends with Alan Lastufka. Bought Chameleon Circuit. Re-watched some of my favorite Doctor Who and Torchwood eps. and tried to get Maureen Johnson on the trending topics on twitter :-p...oh and read through 3 of Maureen's books..so far.

summer's only half over though. :-p

I watched all of the videos of the Nerdfighterlike channel. Saw a Rocky Horror Picture Show play. Beat all 15 levels of Tetris all within the last week. So far so good as summer of nerdiness.

For my Nerdy Summer I'm trying to get through all the New Series Doctor Who, and it's spin offs Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures including any original books/audiobooks I can get my hands on that tie into the series (One thing i'm leaving out is any comics as they are hard to get a hold of) in roughly the order they happen in the Whoniverse timeline.

WOW. This is actually MY summer goal, too. I've always been a "Harry Potter nerd" and I decided to use this summer to further embrace my geeky side. So, I watched the new Star Trek movie and I am watching the old episodes online. My friend suggested a few anime names that I want to read. I'm finally watching the whole Star Wars series (sadly, I only saw one movie so far...). And of course I'm just trying to read as much as I can (but that's a common summer goal for me).

Well, I realized that I haven't checked on your channel in FOREVER and have no idea why. Ha ha. I will also be partaking in this summer of nerdiness, and have been already. Like greengirl...I've also been watching Doctor Who like a job...and I was supposed to go to a WRock concert...but I had to read. Yes. I missed a concert...to read. -Cont- Sorry. This is far too long...anyway...I have a friend coming over Thurs. which will lead to us having a marathon of nerdy/eclectic/adorably dorky movies. Examples include the HPs, Moulin Rogue, and Pan's Labyrinth....believe me that's not it..I think. I LOVE being nerdy.

I've been a BtVS fan since 2003, but some internet friends recently got into it too & I love discussing it w/ them. As much as I love being nerdy all by myself in the comfort of my own room, I REALLY love to spread it around. Being a nerd alone is fun, but being a nerd w/ friends is infinitely better, even from opposite coasts. I love getting people in all things Whedon, & getting into new things that they love
