Yep, so "inconsistent" that he's shooting over 49% from the field this season. But, you're right, he may be a lackluster jump shooter, but he makes up the difference with his dynamic drives to the basket with being able to finish uncannily.

Picking out ticky-tack things like "no handles" or "can't create for others" is a bit ridiculous, because he has above average handling ability. I disagree about the playmaking ability, though. It's above average, which is good enough for the Suns.

Comparing J-Rich to LeBron is silly, so I'm just going to ignore that. I've already said that you're right about the jump-shooting abilities, because I agree that he's lackluster. In fact, I could care less, but to say that he's an "overrated" player is incorrect. He's actually a player that is an in-between type of guy, but in no way is he "overrated" by a long shot. Handling the ball has nothing to do with "creating" or making plays. There's many ways a player can create, not just by handle.

He isn't that great of a driver anymore, he tries to pull up or fade away more than he should . For a 5th overall pic, I would expect a lot more. I watched him play on the Warriors a lot, I used to love the guy but overlooked the fact that he is only good on a bad team; that is why his scoring avg went up every year before he broke his hand in 06-07.

There are many picks in the draft that either under-achieve or over-achieve, so using that as one's argument is really irrelevant. It's like trying to guess what player is going to suceed in any given sport -- one just never knows. An example of that would be Kwame Brown being the #1 overall pick several years back, and we ALL know how badly he turned out!
