  • Thank you Bro Steve, I pray God blesses you abundantly , Keep speaking the truth in love

  • I shall never forget what that old time saint told me many years ago..."I am so glad that you received the revelation of Jesus Christ".

Thank God for the saving name, the revelating name of truth.

  • Baptism is NOT works. Ive never seen anyone bury themselves. In the same way Babtism is not a work of righteousness that YOU have done. Someone does it to you. At our church, we wash the towels and the robes! you dont have to do anything except step in the water. (Simply obey God and get into the water.)

  • You are saved by grace through faith

  • Yes we are saved by grace through faith, but false-christian scum try to use that as an excuse to justify their filthy false-christianity. Noah was saved by grace through faith but he still had to obey to be saved.

Let's look at what God has promised all the false-christians who don't obey Acts 2:38.

2Thess 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Non -obeyers reject the grace of God.

  • Scum is a word reserved for bathtub film, not human beings. Whatever happened to beloved let us love one another?

  • I love my neighbor enough to come against false-christian scum who labor to deceive my neighbor into hell. Jesus called falsely religious of His day names like "scum".

Matt 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

You need to find a real Church and forget all that false-christian garbage that is leading you to hell.

  • Show me a scripture that says specifically that the Holy Ghost is required for salvation? Acts 2:38 refers to it as a gift, not a requirement. Jesus refers to the Holy Ghost as "comforter" in John 6:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name...".

  • I feel to mention that this "Tex" is a hardened, God hating, false-christian scum. I normally would simply reject a comment from such a devil, but just to show what garbage the false-christians are teaching I felt to post it.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

These Holy Ghost rejecting decievers are "none of His".

  • Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

    -

BTW, Who wouldn't want a gift from God? I love gifts!

As for John 3:3-5, Being born of the water is water baptism and being born of the Spirit is receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

  • Water and Spirit, just like in Acts 2:38

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

  • Can I mention that I didn't agree with you calling "Tex" scum? You have the right message and yes, he may be hardened and false but I personally didn't like the use of that word. God may one day reveal to him the truth and love and I wouldn't want to be repenting for calling him scum, but rejoicing with him that the Lord does love us whether we like it or not. God bless BroSteveWinters. Keep speakin' the truth!

  • Jesus called names. What you need to worry about is "bearing with" a deceiver and thereby being corrupted.

2Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

2Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

  • No I totally understand what you are saying and I totally agree with it 100%. But I know God is more powerful than the "deceiver", and I stick with showing His love in a different way than you may. You may know "Tex" better than I do, but from what I've read, he's just asked simple questions. Now if you have the Gift of Discernment, then I totally apologize your authority on this. I just wasn't picking it up, and hope you understand.

  • It doesn't take a spiritual gift to see that if it walks like a devil and it talks like a devil and it hates the truth, then it is a devil. The Bible gives us instructions of how to relate to false preachers. I try to obey the Bible. I don't really disagree with your position either, but I recommend caution. Every situation is different.

  • You know I reread his comment and looked at it in a different perspective and I see what you mean now. I guess w/ how hard it is to portray emotion and attitude online clouded how I saw his comment. I'm glad you caught it sooner than I did, and thanks for having patience with me. :)

  • Acts11:15

And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Praise the Lord Brother Winter thanks for posting.

  • Acts11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Praise The LORD Brother Winter hanks for the youtube posting!!

  • I don`t speak in tongues, so does that mean in your understanding of scripture that I am not a true follower of Jesus Christ? Am I not a true disciple in your eyes because I do not speak in tongues? Thanks....

  • Why in your wildest dreams would you ever imagine yourself to be a Christian if you don't have the Acts 2:38 Biblical salvation? This is not some ego game. The scripture is clear: Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

  • Awesome Bro Winters!! Loved the message!! :)
