  • IDES OF MARCH THE MOST SIGNIFICANT SCENE AT THE END

  • The historical account of the death of Julius Caesar seems to have been rewritten for this film.

  • @TheVaughan5 What's your problem ?,just change chanel

  • @merusso65 Actually, I did!

  • I try not to get angry with white people for stealing african history, But i must say that it is shameful for a nation of people to rewrite and steal another nations history. How would you europeans like it if 2000 years from now, black people ruled the world, And we claim that we were the romans, greeks, spartins etc. when the paintings and statues clearly show that the people were caucasins? You would be angry too! I was injoying the moving intill i seen the white egyptians.

  • Awesome! now i don't have to read the Shakespearian Julius ceasar book for my English Class anymore. i just hope it's the same story so i don't seem like an idiot when I share my opinions out in class. :D

  • @Camerooongirl I hope you still have time to read the actual play... because this is very different then the actual play. Read it its only a few hours to get through.

  • i agree

  • An amazing tragedy.

  • @annabatarowicz I didnt know that about the celts. Thanks bro

  • @tgtenglish that's not what i said. You read the comment next to mine. Im a history major and this moive is so off it's kinda funny

  • @TitusUSA10

    I couldn't agree more...horrible!

  • @tgtenglish "helpful in teaching" are you kidding me? That movie was historically off

  • @TitusUSA10 this movie is sd it makes ceaser out to be honorable and just. he wsnt he was a genicide maniac, he cale up to three million celts. he killed a lot of them by tricking them int settling them on land then he would lead them in to a big compound and starve themto death. then the bodies would be picked up and they would start again. the celts were the most civilised people in europe. women were equal to men like boudicia. plu unike the romans they took care of the disabled

  • @annabatarowicz Thats true. Julius Ceasar was a pedophile and he experienced many cruelty in Rome, before he fought against the Gauls. The Celtic gold was the only reason for the roman to attack Gaul. Because the Celts were the richest people of the world.

  • @annabatarowicz you're wrong. Celts weren't civilized at all... They were just one barbaric states... Caesar conquered Gauls easily. However if we're talking about advance factions during ancient rome we can just takl about Carthage, Partia (a bit later) and Egypt + Greece of course. So do not be so nationalist if you live on some land where Celts lived.... I just can't change that everyone think that their own people was the 'smartest, most advanced etc... And that's just the worst nationalism.

  • @UnitingNationsF sorry bro.....you may be wrong....the celts from gaul came in to soo much contact with the romans that they infact were very much civilized.....they in fact were skilled blacksmiths my friend.....they were the ones whom invented chain mail....and after its incopertion into the empire made the changes too the roman armour...Gallic itallic armour was the favorite of the legions...

  • @winningtrolls ok and how does CHAINMAIL helped mankind ? How does chainmail improved anything ? Roman armour was light and good for fight so its strategy that win battles not some light chainmail armour. Anyway Romans were the most advanced civilzation and if you believe in some nationalistic stories about Gaul taking over Rome in culture, warfare (who conquered Gauls Romans or ... ? so where is your chain mail perfection now...), science etc. Romans made perfect law system that we still use..

  • @UnitingNationsF My good friend, you said that the celts of gaul were nothing more then barbarians, i merly pointed out that the gauls at the time of cesar, were more civilised then one thinks, cesar himself said this, he said that the gauls had gotten soft and there war like mind started to want things that the romans had like wine and baths, So were are the roman legions NOW, Italy ...well i think italia is americas bitch Now...so much for the might of rome...

  • @winningtrolls Now I see with who I'm arguing with. You're just mixing and opening new themes because you don't have any argument(s). Caesar admired Gauls because of their COURAGE nothing more than that. However can you find anything amazing that Gaul's left ? I think not. Romans left many amazing things and science is still discovering new things that Romans left. Gaul's left only ''chainmail'' !

  • Is this an exact reproduction of Shakespeares text? i mean with the scenes and lines?

  • @21anira No. Shakespeare was more about the battle and then conspiracy and murder of Caesar, if I recall.

  • @annabatarowicz From reading your comment and knowing almost nothing about Celts, I feel reasonably confident that they were in factn worthless barbarians for whom Ceaser did the favour of ending their miserable existence. Once again, I know little about Celts. Just reading your comment, that is all.
