Of course Donny won because of who he is. the dancing was not even close. And yes the show did use manipulation to make it appear as if the competition was closer than it actually was. The show is scripted, anyone who thinks otherwise is naive and/or clueless.
I would have been happy if Mya won too. I still have to give it to Donny. He is the oldest competitor to take the trophy and even beat his YOUNGER sister Marie who frankly wasn't as good as she was tarted up to be on the show. Marie should have never made the finals in her season.
Dude, it's a popularity contest. I don't watch the show, but I do like Donny Osmond. He's a funny guy. Yes, Mya is hotter than the hottest HOTTNESS. But the winner was probably decided before the show even started.

Funny how Len criticised mya how for her what's important is the wow in the dance and for him the technique and in the finale, with the announcement in the beginning and the choreo, donny had more wow in the dance than mya. only the confettis were missing.

the quality of mya's movement, even before she joined dwts, amazed me. a natural dancer, graceful, fluid and can hit it as well. there are some dillusional but the majority has acknowledged long time ago that mya is the best. i hope she will have success in the music business once again

Check this out! has nothing to do with sympathy! Donny has been doing his thing since he and Michael Jackson has been competing as teen idols. Donny O has a WAYYYY bigger fan base than Mya will ever hope to achieve in her lifetime. i love Mya and i watched this season no doubt for her but you cant argue with the numbers and Donny O has them in spades. Plus Donny O did do his thing as well.

from just the FINALS alone, Donny did better overall. Mya's is excellent and if she came out w/ a better freestyle, she would have won
The reality is all 3 finalists are winners. It took a lot of work just to get there.
Put it in another perspective.....Mya and Kelly are taking not winning the event a lot better than you are.
