@mallard1972 Hehe you havent watched nextlevelguitar videos for long have you? Hes been wearing a cap in every video since the start i think. I started watch in 2007 i believe and haven't seen a single clip without the cap even tho fans/student have asked for it :P

I play by ear. I don't even need to learn boxes and shapes, although I have learned them. But I have such a good ear that it was a waste of time to learn them. When I jam with another guitarist, I never ask myself, "Would it be ok if I played this shape or scale over what this other guitarist is doing?" I just find what sounds right by using my ear and then I play it. I don't have to ask what key the other guy is playing in or anything like that. I was just born with perfect pitch.

It's more off a jazzy type blues thing. There are more than one style of blues.You have New Orleans style,Chicago,Texas,thats just in U.S.A. Then you have to think about Irish ,Scottish folk songs thats a form of the blues......Just saying....Yeah .........Peace and no disrespect to anyone.
