Seen ace a few times on tour a year or so go, he still has but the way ppl need to look at it is you get more kiss with them separated, Ace tour with full ace set list plus new albums = more ace and when you see kiss, you dont have to hear the same dam ace songs every tour and ace owns tommy but tommy fits this better than bruce.

@rawbo007 - Of course Ace can't rip like he did 20 years ago, rock n' roll is a young man's game. Listening to this vid, apparently Paul can't 'reproduce' the vocals either, so they're even. If you bothered listening to "Anomaly", you would have heard enough meaty riffs and bitchin' leads to satisfy. Ace is far from 'done'.

From the Love Gun LP. This was the opener for the Love Gun/Alive II Tour and the Hot in the Shade Tour, which I saw (July 1990, Columbia, SC). Sadly, the Love Gun LP was the last album that all original members would perform on. Cracks began appearing afterwards. Ace would disappear during the recordings of the studio hits of Alive II and Anton Fig did some of the drumming on Dynasty and all on Unmasked, even though Peter Criss was credited.

I am really getting tired of people knocking Tommy Thayer. Kiss sounds better now than they did during the reunion tour and Ace is better on his own. As much as I would like the original Kiss to come back together and play like they did in '76 - '78 style ; it ain't gonna happen.If Tommy had different face paint would people still be bitchin'? @spernoadversa ....if Tommy and eric had different face paint i think Kiss would be much more accepted by older fans than they are as it is...which for Kiss, would be better, even more album sales and even more concert ticket sales. But maybe Gene's at a point where it's just less work to leave things as they are.
