Lynyrd Skynyrd didn't sound the same after Ronnie Van Zant was killed in the plane crash either, but they were still good after they reformed with his brother Johnny Van Zant. They did what they had to do under the circumstances, & did it well, Same with the Platters.
I'm considerably younger than the original platters--this is a great song. BTW, Is that a school ring on the guy's wedding finger whose leading this or his significant others' way of letting others (namely myself) know he's spoken for? ***Just making conversation-no replies expected.
