Deserves a place with famous weapon innovators of the past, because of the truly new concepts and design ideas that have transformed the humble slingshot into the beautifully crafted yet deadly pieces of art.Surely he has opened up a whole new line of weapons for the enthusiast.

@StoneSlinging TB Black is thinner (60%), you have to take more to get the same draw weight. It also is a bit faster, but it tears a bit earlier too. Trade offs, trade offs, trade offs.

@StoneSlinging its the same matirial, the black bands are just thinner than the gold ones, but still one of the thickest in compare to the other colors (gold>silver>black>blue>green>­red>yellow>white). thinner bands are able to be a bit faster but not much, but in my opinion the handling of the gold ones is the best, just easy to cut and fix etc ^^

Have you tried using CAD Software to design and test those prototypes?

You could transfer the data to CNC machines or companies and have them reproduce your slingshots.

You could make higher volumes and expand your retail ;)

I'd rather buy a 'Jörg Sprave certified slingshot' than killing myself trying to build one

@jkcason Rifling wouldn't actually help because it's round and not bullet shaped. Rifling keeps a bullet stable in flight and the right end pointing at the target. It really doesn't matter what part of the ball hits the targer because, well, it's a ball.
