cata killed wow. real wow is dead for now. wow cata is not anymore wow. people are running with 141k hp wtf? you have to hit 50 frostbolls to kill someone. you have very big hp and Counterspell is useless now.

wow was cool when 4000 hp was big health. and when mages could kill with 2 crits. and when level was 60.

I dont play it any more. it is not fun.

I have to say, the lore in Catcacysm is extremely weak, the story is almost non-existent. Deathwing, after you lvl, is nowhere to be found. Because of this I left WoW.

In WOTLK, the Lich King was present almost in every aspect of northrend and you had a sense of doom when either leveling or playing dungeons and raids. Hell, even BC was tons more fun (lorewise) than Cata.

The main  reason that Wow ruined Warcraft lore is because it's an MMO, and structured in such a way that quality story-telling is impossible. And the relentless need for people to take their uber characters one step further leads to the thinning out of worthwhile plot points.

Seriously, all the bosses in the WoW expansion have gone "insane" or "corrupted" so we can kill them.

Basically, a classic MMO structure, which is exactly what Wow is, cannot tell a good story. Period.

We all knew Deathwing had the power to break the world (or part of it) apart. Obviously, with time, people (aka races) are gonna want to learn new skills (aka new classes). And the goblins are a mercantile race, always have been. Give em a reason not to deal with the Alliance and they're obviously gonna go with the Horde to make money and blow shit up.

Seriously, it is their lore and thus their right to change it as they see fit. And many decisions and changes weren't made out of the blue and nowhere. Uther: King Arthur

Argent Crusade: The Crusade from medieval times. Even the banner looks almost the same with the cross.

The Lich King: Your typical "im doing this for vengeance but I turned out to be just as evil as one of them" (Darth Vader)

etc etc etc.

I know most games adopt alot of previous story but WoW lore is just a copy and paste with a few edit.
