  • Pacific Green, Did you do any modifications to it? How did you come across the FR exhaust for your car?

  • Great car. This is the ehaust that we all wish we could have. Seriously bad ass sounding . Congrats

  • @robb15033 Thanks, I used to have a 96 same color as yours.

  • Do you have cats? If so are the high flow or stock?

  • @AdamLee233 they are stock

  • @jaredthejayman Do you have a tuner on your car?

  • is this true dual?

  • When you gonna get the body kit? It would look so awesome and the stripe too..

  • what kinda pipes and stuff do you have on this exhaust. cause your car sounds different than any other car with frpp exhaust on it

  • finally a proper sound. the borla ones sound like a moped or an import tuner car.

  • Ha I remember when my car used to look like that!

  • i plan on getting this for my 09 v6...what is the best way to go about getting another hole in your rear bumper for the muffler? I know i can get a gt bumper but that would cost about 300-350$ not to excited about that or i can get someone to cut a hole which wouldn't bother me

  • The Ford Racing kit comes with a template to cut it.

  • Shop should be able to cut it and this setup comes with the bumper covers, that basically go over your cut part and the original side cut part as well to make it give an even, professional look.

  • i went to test drive a 5 speed 4.0 today that im gettting real soon.. and i had a blast going side ways in this pony real easy...4/0 all the way... and nice mustang man.. did u buy the rear bumper....and how much did it cost?

  • what do u mean going side ways? like turning?

  • drifting. . . .

    dumbass. . .

    *sighs*

  • Well done, jayman. What else is inside the hood? Cold air kit? Tuning? Headers? Do tell.

  • that has 2 be the throatist v6 exhaust that i've heard. i still dont have an exhaust on mine bc i havn't found i liked until now. can u tell me everything you have done from the intake to all the pipping and stuff please?

  • I got the FRPP duals a month or so ago....I love the sound, and I feel like I got a bit of my low-end-torque back after running a Pypes street Pro single axleback.

This kit is a bit deeper in tone after you let the idle drop to 700 after startup.

  • u got a bit of your low end torque? isnt this kid supposed to increase your performance by a few hp/torque? does anybody know what number we're talking about?

  • A dual setup will only increase HP and torque to a very minimal degree. I mean were talking 1 to 3 HP and sometimes none at all. If you want a quick little boost in power go with a CAI. Unless you change the heads and the whole exhaust your just not going to find much power in a dual conversion. Duals are basically all about sound and that classic muscle look.

  • Well i get different numbers from every person, but most of the people say it gives 5-15hp at the crank. Ive also heard a few people saying they lost some of their low-end torque. I am very interested in a cai but ive heard that cai's without a tune arent really helping u. Now getting a tuner is pretty hard for me (has 2 do with where i live).

  • A CAI without a tune is not a good idea. While with certain CAI's you can run without the tune. However remember a CAI is pushing more air through the engine than the stock tune is set for. This means that you can actually hurt the engine with the added intake. If you go with a C&L or a JLT CAI you need a tune to run the engine to keep from possibly experiencing catastrophic failure.

  • i wouldnt say catastrophic failure, but it might decrease performance. I've ran an untuned custom intake on my last car and think it might have hurt the mixture coz i was getting slower lol

  • Well basically that's exactly why you don't want to use a CAI without a tune. Without a tune it's just not doing anything for you and can cause damage to the engine.

  • Nice! Nice... VERY NICE! I do kinda like the look more than the sound though... mine's on the way.

  • sounds good!!! good choice on exhaust once they break in they sound even better my advice if u want alittle more sound go for some shorties pypes makes a great set for cheap. have jbas on mine but i but pypes headers on my gfs mustang and i like the quality much better then the jbas kinda wish i would have waited lol. but once again good job man i hope u enjoy it

  • yeah definately, i would say you and i came about as close as it may come with a V6! Nice stang.

  • Thanks! yours as well...sounds great I checked it out earlier. Good stuff!

  • Is this exhaust system made for the v8?

  • @jaredthejayman Do u happen to remember if this set-up had the GTB mufflers (from the mustang bullit) or the GTA?

  • @Alonshalev These are the GTA's

  • I'm not gonna lie......that sounds damn good. You make me wanna try it out on mine! This is the first V6 mustang exhaust that I thought was better than mine as far as the 05+ 4.0's go....good job.

  • Yeah I love it...still gets that V6 sound in the high RPMs ....but a V6 is a V6 of course...can't make it somethin its not....can get pretty close though lol
