Though I am super sad this Skins is cancelled (and the UK's Skins got boring after mid-series 4), I do love that they had the chance to make it, and break the envelope and some taboos also. But I HATE how strict the PTC is. TEEN LIFE ISN'T PERFECT, B**CHES. You can't sugar-coat, censor, or cancel LIFE. And Degrassi doesn't count for anything. It's so watered down. -_-

It is sad to say that there will not be a new Skins (US) :'( MTV has made there decision. The series MIGHT have a chance of being adopted into a new channel but thats not likely to happen. So pray that MTV changes there mind, or the show gets adopted. Because we want Skins!
Honestly, without these amazing songs, Skins wouldn't be what it is.. The songs are what makes me love the US version 1000x better then the UK version.. Honestly, UK's playlist is terrible...

Don't get me wrong, I liked the music in the US version, especially in Tea and Michelle's ep, but the UK version has some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G songs, too bad you can't see that.
@djdiu Sorry, this comment was when I was in the first few episodes. I just recently finished the 5th season. And have grown to the UK version much more. The playlist for UK is better. Should've waited and watched more before I judged. But I do think that the party songs suited the scenes more so then some of the UK's parties.

But the rest was all British songs unknown for the British public, but of course you're American and you don't know too much about our music. I learned about a lot of songs from the songs, and they were great. In the US Skins they even used British songs that were known in Europe. So you weren't too original, sorry.

Watched the new episode last night, and I was kind of thrown off by it. It was basically all partying instead of a solid starting plot. But I'm going to continue watching the best show in the world. Until it's over. No question, it's the best. I'm also psyched about the movie that is coming out in America maybe this summer.

Obviously there is because of MTV's dedication to this show.. But, by my guess probably January - February 2012.. Because Skins UK had a new season every year. At the same times. Im not ashamed to say that I cried too when Stanley kissed Michelle after she said now.
It felt amazing to see "one of the good gyes" who always gets pushed aside win for once!
Also, it culminated the entire feeling of that season and ended it perfectly.
Loved it when Tony realises he can be hurt.
