The years that I liked were 2004 till like 2007. Then all the stupid crap with wildy pvp gone ruined it. When it came back I loved runescape again.

I played a bit of classic, but got banned for duping party hats. Which someone lured me into doing. only made 10k the entire game and quit for awhile.

For kids today, the amazing graphics right now is what people like; 3 years from now they'll have even better graphics and then people will be like "omg the days of 2012 are gone"... there was the runescape 2 generation and then there was the classic generation. I personally tried playing the classic and my god, it was terrible. But people will be saying that about runescape now in a few years. These comments tick me off.

I have access to RSC (the real one, none of those fake servers) and I'm glad I do. Don't get me wrong, RS2 (while they have gone overboard in many areas) is still enjoyable, but RSC is pretty damn awesome. You don't have to live in fear of Jagex's next update, it's a peaceful retreat (although it can get lonely), most of the younger players are on RS2, and I also like it for nostalgic reasons.

If you have access to the real RSC, be grateful and don't take it for granted!

Everyone who hasnt played RSC always says it was better just because they want to sound like people who have played for along time. I started playing early 2003. Classic was cool but.... I wouldn't want to fucking play it. New RS is a big improvement from classic. I'm a maxed stats and maxed cash for everyone who wants to know :P

I tried this game on my friends account, and let me start of by telling you that Runescape Classic, is absolutely NOT fun, it's just like Runescape 2, except worse, I know old games usually are the good ones, and I'm sure that it was awesome back in the days, but games has to move on. Seen from the eyes of 2011, this game is horrible (yea, I'm srry to say) and I'm happy Jagex made Runescape 2 :)

Well... Runescape Classic looks fun with much more RPG feel. Runescape now is just... Its not that fun. The only thing you can do is to train levels, over and over again. Its not that entertaining. Dungeoneering is okay, but even that is the same over and over again.
