  • whos the packager?

  • aw, good ol ajax, yes they have a little vibration to them!

  • If I lived next to that big piece of shit, I would routinely walk over there and shut that thing off. Fuck the pipeline's flow rates.

  • I am surprized they do not use screw compressors, I work in the refrigeration industry with screws that have 2000 H.P. they can move a lot of ammonia gas.

  • It's an AJAX. Looks like a DPC360. They are a 2 cycle, run no faster than 400 RPM and produce 360HP. It's based on an old steam engine. Not diesel. I maintain close to 150 of these things in NW New Mexico, and they are my favorite units to deal with. Rock solid and very simple.

  • You got all the info correct, I am impressed

  • Why thank you.

  • I work on Gas Comp. In Cleburne Texas! Cool!!!!!!

  • no its based on a diesel it runs of natural gas its called an AJAX

  • It's not so old, it was installed just a couple years ago across the road from where my parents live in east Texas.

I don't know the compression. It is powerful, it shakes the ground and rattles windows when it's running, which is all the time.

  • @Usher237 where in east tx?

  • How much is compression ratio ?

    200 bar ?!

    Looks powerful !

  • i doubt theyre gonna put one of those in arlington thats and old compressor. im sure theyd put in a newer more quieter one.

  • Diesel, I think

  • What kind of engine?
